DAR Aklan

𝗜𝗖𝗬𝗠𝗜: The Department of Agrarian Reform–Aklan conducted a Sustainability Monitoring and Evaluation (SME) Feedbacking session with the Municipal Local Government Units (MLGUs) of Makato and Buruanga on September 24–25, 2025.

In Makato, the activity was spearheaded by SARPO Engr. Mitchie Abello, together with MARPO Jocel and DR Jeffrey Vasquez. Meanwhile, in Buruanga, Engr. Abello was joined by ARPO I Renia Toriego and DF Marc Kevin Ignacio.

This activity aimed to assess the implementation of agrarian reform projects, identify challenges, and gather insights from local stakeholders to strengthen the delivery of support services for agrarian reform beneficiaries (ARBs).

𝗜𝗖𝗬𝗠𝗜: The Department of Agrarian Reform Provincial Office (DARPO) of Aklan conducted a Kamustahan Session and the Signing of a Marketing Agreement between Agrarian Reform Beneficiary Organizations (ARBOs) and the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), September 22, 2025, at the DARPO Conference Room, Kalibo.

Through the Partnership Against Hunger and Poverty (PAHP), the BJMP commits to serve as a market for the products of ARBOs, including Man-up MPC, Catmon Aklan MPC, Badiangan MPC, and LIA Aklan Inc.

𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗡𝗔𝗡: Pinarangalan ng Philippine Commission on Women (PCW) ang Department of Agrarian Reform, Philippines bilang isa sa mga mahuhusay na ahensya sa paglalaan at paggamit ng Gender and Development (GAD) Budget para sa Fiscal Year 2024.

Ang pagkilalang ito ay patunay ng patuloy na dedikasyon ng DAR sa pagsusulong ng pagkakapantay-pantay ng kasarian at inklusibong serbisyo para sa Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries (ARBs).

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦: The Department of Agrarian Reform Adjudication Board (DARAB) Region VI, through the Agrarian Reform Justice on Wheels (ARJOW) program, held hearings in the municipalities of DARMO Numancia Cluster 3, DARMO Ibajay Cluster 4, and DARAB Aklan on September 10-12, 2025.

The hearing focused on petitions for the Re-issuance of Lost/Destroyed Collective Certificates of Land Ownership Award (CLOAs) under DAR-LRA Joint Administrative Order (JAO) No. 01, Series of 2024.

Regional Adjudicator Atty. Jose Maria C. Combatir, led the 3 day mobile adjudication event. The farmer beneficiaries were represented by Atty. Arthur J. Lastimoso Chief, Legal Department of DAR Aklan.

The ARJOW was attended by the Municipal Agrarian Reform Program personnel and Legal Officer of DARPO Legal Office, DARAB Aklan staff.
