On May 14, 2026, the delegation from Central Philippines State University (CPSU) – Main Campus ROTC Unit visited and participated in the ROTC Graduation Ceremony 2026 hosted by the CPSU Ilog Campus ROTC Unit. Our presence during this meaningful activity was part of our mandate to support, guide, and stand alongside our satellite units as they carry out programs aligned with the objectives of the National Service Training Program (NSTP). The occasion marked a significant milestone for all graduating cadets and cadettes, as they formally completed their comprehensive ROTC training, signifying that they are now fully prepared to uphold their duties and honor their commitment to serve the nation.

Throughout their training journey, these graduates demonstrated unwavering discipline, commendable leadership, and relentless perseverance—qualities that proved their sincere dedication to becoming responsible members of the Reserve Force. They have shown that they are ready to heed the country’s call, willing and capable of stepping forward to serve whenever the Filipino people and the nation are in need. Our delegation was honored to be joined by 1LT ODESSA L FAIRBANKS (RES) PA, Assistant Commandant of CPSU ROTCU, whose presence and involvement added great value and inspiration to the entire event. Leading our contingent of officers were CDT COL ARNEL B PALMA, 1CL, Unit Corps Commander; CDT LTC ELIMAR R DELIZO JR., 1CL, Adjutant – CPSU Main; and CDT MAJ ANGEL JOY E LANGREO, 1CL, S7 Civil Military Officer – CPSU Main. Their visionary leadership, steadfast support, and selfless dedication served as a shining example and inspiration to everyone who witnessed this memorable celebration.

As the Mother Unit, CPSU-Main ROTCU remains firmly committed to uplifting all its satellite campuses, working hand-in-hand to nurture the core values of discipline, leadership, and genuine patriotism in every cadet and cadette under our guidance. We also extend our warmest gratitude to the entire CPSU Ilog Campus ROTC Unit for their heartfelt welcome and gracious hospitality during our visit. We give special recognition to Welly M Villlaluz (RES) PA, ROTC Unit Coordinator and Tac-NCO, for his tireless mentorship, unwavering commitment, and relentless effort in shaping disciplined, upright, and responsible future defenders of our nation.

On May 12, 2026, the Central Philippines State University (CPSU) – Main Campus ROTC Unit proudly attended and supported the historic first NSTP Completion Rites and ROTC Graduation Ceremony of CPSU Moises Padilla Campus, held at their campus gymnasium. Joined by university officials, faculty members, parents, and guests, our delegation gathered to honor students who successfully completed both the Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) and Literacy Training Service (LTS) components of the National Service Training Program (NSTP). Carrying the theme “One Mission, One Nation: Rising Through Service and Learning”, the occasion marked a major milestone for the graduates, formally recognizing their hard work, discipline, and readiness to serve their communities and the nation as responsible citizens and future reservists. Our unit was well-represented by key officers led by CDT COL Arnel B Palma, 1CL, Unit Corps Commander; CDT LTC Elimar R Delizo Jr, 1CL, Adjutant; and CDT MAJ Angel Joy E Langreo, 1CL, S7 Civil Military Officer, whose leadership and dedication inspired everyone present.

The program opened with a solemn and patriotic atmosphere, starting with the Entrance of Colors led by the host unit, followed by the singing of the National Anthem, Invocation, Bagong Pilipinas Hymn, and CPSU Hymn that united all attendees in shared pride. In her welcome remarks, Dr. Rosemie G. Gequillana expressed gratitude to all witnesses including our Main Campus delegation, emphasizing that the event reflects the university’s goal of producing graduates who will contribute meaningfully to society. Meanwhile, 2LT HIPOLITO P PUTALAN (RES) PA, commended the trainees’ perseverance and discipline, reminding them that lessons in leadership and service would guide them as future leaders. Highlights included the formal presentation of candidates by Sgt Chona Mae Cabillon (Res) PA and Dr. Jose Edmund P. Odencio, the official declaration of graduates, and the awarding of certificates, medals, and ribbons to outstanding trainees. For ROTC graduates, the turnover to the Philippine Army Reserve Force led by 2LT Putalan and the Panunumpa sa Laang Kawal marked their formal induction as ready reservists. We were honored that our very own CPSU ROTCU Assistant Commandant, 1LT ODESSA L FAIRBANKS (RES) PA, served as Guest of Honor and Speaker; in her message, she emphasized discipline, sacrifice, and service, shared the inspiring story of elderly LTS volunteer “Nanay Antesco”, and addressed mental health and personal responsibility, reminding all that the ROTC uniform stands for dedication and duty. The program also featured reflections from graduate representative Justine S. Llasos, the oath-taking of LTS completers led by Ailete Juliette V. Villanueva, and closing remarks from Dr. Odencio who noted that completion of NSTP is only the start of lifelong service, before ending with the singing of Pilipinas Kong Mahal, smoothly facilitated by Ms. Jezza Mar S. Sencil.

This successful ceremony stands as a historic achievement not only for CPSU Moises Padilla Campus but for the entire CPSU system. For our unit, participating in this milestone reinforced our shared mission and vision as one university, united in fulfilling the mandate of the NSTP Law to mold disciplined, patriotic, and community-oriented youth. True to our unit’s motto “Shaping Leaders Through Discipline”, the event proved that through perseverance, leadership, and commitment, the youth of CPSU are fully capable of becoming responsible citizens and reservists ready to answer the nation’s call anytime. We are proud to stand alongside our fellow cadets, officers, and officials of CPSU Moises Padilla Campus, as we work together toward our shared goal: one mission, one nation, rising through service and learning.

𝐈𝐧 𝐏𝐡𝐨𝐭𝐨𝐬 || On May 9, 2026, the CPSU-Main Reserve Officers Training Corps Unit (ROTCU) served as the official color bearer unit for the chartering and induction ceremony hosted by the Cauayan Eagles Club, in partnership with additional members of the Kabankalan Eagles Club, Kabankalan Lady Eagles Club, and the WVR II Board of Trustees. Held at Winnies Resort in Himamaylan City, Negros Occidental, this significant gathering brought together various organizational members and regional leaders. The units participation marked another milestone in its community engagement initiatives, demonstrating its consistent discipline, professionalism, and commitment to public service.

The entire activity was supervised by 1LT ODESSA L FAIRBANKS (RES) PA, Assistant Commandant of CPSU ROTCU, who is also an active member of the Kabankalan Lady Eagles Club as a Chartered President. Her guidance and overall oversight ensured that the unit performed in accordance with standard protocols and military decorum throughout the event.

One of the ceremony's key highlights was the entrance of colors, led by distinguished officers of the CPSU-Main ROTC Unit. CDT COL Arnel B. Palma, 1CL, Unit Corps Commander, led the contingent as the Color Officer. Assisting him as flag bearers were CDT LTC Elimar R. Delizo Jr., 1CL, Adjutant – CPSU Main, and CDT MAJ Jayson E. Bajos, 1CL, S3 Training and Operations. Serving as members of the Color Guard were CDTE Chris-Ann Grace E. Hilado, 1CL, A-COY Commander, and CDTE Kimberly T. Alejado, B-COY Commander. Meanwhile, CDTE Angel Joy E. Langreo, 1CL, S7/CMO, was tasked to handle the overall documentation of the event. The exemplary leadership, unwavering support, and dedication displayed by these officers and the whole unit served as an inspiration to all attendees during the memorable occasion.

At the conclusion of the activity, the CPSU-Main ROTC Unit extended its sincere gratitude to all members of the Eagles Club for the warm welcome and generous hospitality provided throughout the event.

The participation of the CPSU-Main ROTC Unit in the chartering and induction ceremony successfully embodied the core values of honor, courage, and patriotism that the unit instills in its cadets as future reservists of the nation. ‎On the 9th day of May 2026, the CPSU-Main ROTC Unit, as the Mother Unit, attended the ROTC Graduation Ceremony 2026 of the CPSU San Carlos ROTC Unit held at the CPSU San Carlos Gym. The ceremony successfully commenced for the graduating ROTC cadets and cadettes, marking another milestone as they officially completed their ROTC training and are now prepared to uphold their duty and commitment in serving the nation.

‎Through discipline, leadership, and perseverance, these cadets and cadettes have proven their dedication to becoming responsible reservists ready to answer the call of service anytime the country needs them.
