Effective October 2029 the Licensure Examination for Certified Public Accountants now covers the following subjects:

1. AUDITING AND ATTESTATION (AAT) 70 Multiple Choice Questions

2. BUSINESS ANALYSIS AND REPORTING (BAR) 70 Multiple Choice Questions with provision of a case problem requiring straight problem solving and theoretical analysis.

3. FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING AND REPORTING (FAR) 70 Multiple Choice Questions The examination is divided into two parts: (1) Financial Accounting Theory and Problem; and (2) Advanced Financial Accounting Theory and Problem. Removal of Partnership Accounting and Corporate Liquidation.

4. INFORMATION SYSTEMS AND CONTROLS (ISC) 70 Multiple Choice Questions This subject covers the candidates’ ability to demonstrate understanding and remembering of concepts, frameworks, principles, standards, criteria, and regulations relating to the following areas: information systems and data management, information technology (IT) objectives and controls, auditing IT as part of the audit of financial statements, and service organization controls (SOC).

5. REGULATORY FRAMEWORK for BUSINESS TRANSACTIONS (RFBT) 100 Multiple Choice Questions

6. TAX PLANNING AND COMPLIANCE (TAX) 70 Multiple Choice Questions
