Living for God, Loving people, Leading the Way ❤️🔥

The church is not valuable because it is perfect. It is valuable because Christ willingly paid for it with His own blood. While many only see flaws, failures, and imperfections, Christ remains faithful to His church and continues to sanctify her.
Love for the church is not just emotional or verbal. It is expressed through faithfulness, service, forgiveness, encouragement, and commitment to the body.
This week, examine your heart toward the church. Do you value what Christ values? Do you love His people the way He calls you to?
If Christ deeply loves the church, believers should not remain indifferent toward it.

Genuine faith produces love for God’s people.
Loved people love people. 🤍
The same grace, mercy, and love that God freely gave us should overflow into the way we treat one another.

Grateful to God for the whole Loving the Local Church series.
As we end this series, may the Holy Spirit continue to open our hearts to understand the beauty, value, and purpose of the local church. 💖
The church is not just a place we attend, it is the Body of Christ, a community where we grow, serve, love, and walk together in faith. 🙌
May we continue to honor, support, and love the local church the way Christ loves His Church. 🙌

Unity in the church is not maintained by shared preferences, personalities, or convenience. It is preserved when believers choose humility, patience, love, and peace toward one another.
The local church is not just a gathering we attend. It is the visible expression of our union with Christ.
This week, do not just participate in church. Help preserve its unity. Speak with grace. Forgive quickly. Serve faithfully. Protect peace instead of feeding division.
Believers honor Christ when they faithfully protect the unity of His body.

Christ forms His church by bringing different people together as one body through Him.
Every believer has a place, a purpose, and a part to play in the family of God.
If Christ has placed us in His body… how are we loving and serving the people He has joined us to?
This week, encourage, pray for, or serve someone in your local church.

Just as the human body has many parts—eyes, hands, and feet—working together under one head, so the church is made up of many believers with different gifts and functions, UNITED AND BROUGHT TO LIFE BY ONE SPIRIT.
1Corinthians 12:12 The body is a unit, though it is made up of many parts; and though all its parts are many, they form one body. So it is with Christ.

Many look at their past and only see failure, shame, and regret. But in Christ, your past can also become evidence of mercy. The blood of Jesus fully paid the debt and secured your forgiveness once and for all. And the new covenant declares, “their sins and lawless acts I will remember no more.”
Your past should remind you that you are still here because grace reached you.
This week, look at your past and remember how faithful God's mercy has been. Then walk forward like someone fully forgiven in Christ.

Let us not seek to earn what has already been finished in Christ.
Let us not live as those who do not belong to God.
Let us not face the future without a living hope.
Through the new covenant in Christ:.. our standing before God is secured,.. our identity as His children is restored,.. and our future is guaranteed in Him.
Communion reminds us:
His body was given for us,
His blood was shed for us,
and His promise to return for us remains certain.

When you receive Christ, God places His Spirit within you, and that Spirit confirms that you now belong to Him. You are no longer a slave, no longer distant, no longer under fear. You are now free from the power of sin, brought into a real relationship where you can call Him Father, and given a secure inheritance that cannot be taken away.
This changes how you live. You do not approach God as a stranger, but with confidence. You do not live bound to your old life, but led by His Spirit.
This week, do not live like you are still a slave. Live as a child. Come to Him, walk with Him, and let your life reflect who you now belong to.

Because we have the Spirit of God, we are truly children of God and that changes everything about who we are and how we live.
We are no longer slaves to sin, we have true freedom.
We are no longer distant from God, we have a living relationship where we can call Him “Father.”
And we are no longer uncertain about our future, we have a secure inheritance as co-heirs with Christ.
This is not based on our performance, but on our position in God’s family. The Spirit Himself confirms it, we belong to Him.
So we don’t live like orphans.
We don’t live in fear.
We don’t live in defeat.
We live as children of God, free, secure, and confident in our Father.
---
For you did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship. And by him we cry, "Abba, Father."
The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God's children.
Now if we are children, then we are heirs--heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.
