May mga taong tulad ni Obadiah—hindi sikat, hindi lantad, pero totoo ang pananampalataya.

Siya ay lingkod ni Ahab, nasa loob ng isang corrupt at evil system, pero ang puso niya ay para sa Diyos. Ayon sa 1 Kings 18:3–4, “Si Obadiah ay lubhang may takot sa Panginoon… nagtago siya ng isandaang propeta… at pinakain sila ng tinapay at tubig.” Sa gitna ng panganib, pinili niyang gumawa ng tama.

Hindi madali ang posisyon niya. Sa 1 Kings 18:9–12, makikita ang takot niya—alam niyang pwede siyang mapahamak. Pero hindi nawala ang kanyang faith. Kahit tahimik, may ginagawa siyang mahalaga sa likod ng eksena. At nang utusan siyang ipatawag si Ahab (1 Kings 18:7–8, 15–16), sumunod pa rin siya.

Ito ang reality: maraming “Obadiah” ngayon. Nasa loob ng toxic systems—sa trabaho, gobyerno, o kahit pamilya—pero may takot sa Diyos. Hindi man sila vocal, pero buhay ang konsensya nila. At ito ang hindi kayang nakawin ng kahit anong evil system: ang pusong nakaangkla sa Diyos.

Kapag ang isip at puso mo ay nasa Diyos, may protection ka. Maaaring hindi ka agad mailabas sa sitwasyon, pero gagamitin ka ng Diyos doon mismo. May purpose ka kahit nasa gitna ng corruption.

Manalangin tayo

Panginoon, palakasin Mo ang bawat Obadiah sa mundong ito. Bigyan Mo sila ng tapang, wisdom, at protection. Sa gitna ng dilim, gawin Mo silang ilaw. Ingatan Mo ang kanilang puso at isip na manatiling tapat sa Iyo. At sa tamang panahon, ilabas Mo sila o gamitin para sa Iyong layunin. Sa pangalan ni Jesus, Amen.
