Noon lagi akong burnout sa paulit-ulit na routine — work, house chores, taking care of the kids, then repeat all over again. May deadlines kang hinahabol habang may mga kalat sa bahay na kailangan mong linisin, anak na naghihintay ng oras at atensyon mo. Kahit nagttravel kami, dala ko parin ang trabaho. Sobrang nabubugnot ako at laging galit.

But recently, I realized something, walang rewind button ang buhay… and life isn’t always about us and about how tired we are. It’s about appreciating God’s blessings in every season. When you slow down and look around, makikita mo yung ganda ng buhay kahit sa simpleng moments and peaceful places. Mas lalo kong na-appreciate kung gaano kabuti si God sa pamilya namin.

To whoever is reading this, I pray that God gives you the desires of your heart and the peace you truly deserve. 🤍

I posted this back in 2024 and now mas madami nang freelancers sa Upwork & Fiverr. Yes, sobrang dami nang profile jan, but they’re still some of the best freelancing platforms because of the huge volume of job opportunities available every day.

Competition is normal in freelancing, so focus more on improving your profile, portfolio, communication, and niche instead of getting discouraged.

Recently, I explored PeoplePerHour and Hubstaff Talent and I think they’re good platforms for beginners too, especially if you’re still building experience and confidence.

And of course, don’t forget LinkedIn. It’s not just for corporate jobs — many freelancers get direct clients there through networking and content.

Quick reminder for aspiring VAs:

• Don’t rely on one platform only
• Build a portfolio even with sample projects
• Optimize your profile headline and introduction
• Apply consistently and improve your proposals
• Be patient — freelancing takes time, consistency, and trust-building before results start coming in
