Ini bangud man nga may yara na sang existing policy ang ila ahensya angut sa counterflow, kag tion nga ma-review na ang ginaduso nga ordinansa dira na mahibaluan kon bala redundant na.

Kon madumduman, pasado na ini sa first reading sa City Council, kag tion nga maaprubahan magapangatubang sang P1,500 tubtob P5,000 ang magalapas sa amo nga polisa.

Naglabas ng Show Cause Order (SCO) ang Land Transportation Office sa pamumuno ni LTO Chief, Assistant Secretary Markus V. Lacanilao laban sa isang tricycle driver na nagsagawa ng mapanganib na parang isang road stunt sa Taytay, Rizal dahil sa pagmamaneho nito ng patagilid. Ang SCO ay batay sa isang reklamo na nagmula sa isang viral na video na ipinost sa page na “Taytay Rizal News and Public Affairs,” kung saan makikita ang tricyle na di umano’y nagmamaneho sa paraang nagdudulot ng panganib sa kaligtasan ng publiko. Ang nasabing sasakyan ay lumabag sa batas trapiko katulad ng di tamang paggamit ng lane at obstruction to traffic flow.

Inaatasan ang driver na humarap sa pagdinig ng LTO Intelligence and Investigation Division (IID) at magsumite ng paliwanag kung bakit hindi siya dapat kasuhan ng reckless driving at hindi dapat managot sa pagiging improper person to operate a motor vehicle. Ang tricycle ay ilalagay sa alarm status habang patuloy ang imbestigasyon at ang kanyang lisensya ay pansamantalang suspendido ng siyamnapung (90) araw at kailangan itong isurender sa IID. Kung hindi siya makakarating sa takdang araw ng pagdinig ay ituturing itong pagbabalewala sa kaniyang karapatan na marinig at pagpapasiyahan ang kaso batay sa mga dokumentong hawak ng ahensya.

Binigyang-diin ni Asec Lacanilao: “Hindi tatanggapin ng LTO ang anumang aksyon na nagdudulot ng panganib sa kaligtasan ng mga gumagamit ng kalsada. Basta’t sasakyan – pribado man, pampubliko, o para sa mga kaganapan sa motorsport – pantay-pantay nating ipinagbabawal ang mga paglabag sa batas trapiko. Ang kasong ito ay patunay ng ating pangako na tutugunan ang lahat ng uri ng paglabag na ating natatanggap – mula man sa opisyal na ulat o mula sa mga impormasyong ibinibigay ng publiko – para tiyakin na ang bawat taong nagmamaneho sa mga kalsada ng Pilipinas ay sumusunod sa mga pamantayan para protektahan ang buhay at ari-arian.”

The Land Transportation Office (LTO) has issued resolutions addressing administrative cases against three driving schools accredited to operate in Tarlac, following investigations into alleged violations of regulatory standards governing driver education and certification.

The cases centered on violations of Section 24(C)(11) and other relevant provisions of Memorandum Circular No. VDM-2023-2460, also known as the Revised Omnibus Guidelines on the Accreditation, Supervision, and Control of Driving Institutions. Allegations included irregular issuance of Practical Driving Course (PDC) and Theoretical Driving Course (TDC) Certificates of Completion, such as issuance without completion of required training hours, non-conduct of prescribed instruction, and provision of examination answer keys to facilitate compliance documentation.

For two of the driving schools, which were found to have committed first-offense violations related to irregular PDC certificate issuance, penalties include a fine of Fifty Thousand Pesos (P50,000.00) each and suspension of accreditation for a period of six (6) months. These violations involved issuance of certificates despite incomplete training hours, with one institution citing staff action without authority and the other citing humanitarian considerations for the non-compliant act.

The third driving school faced multiple violations across separate incidents in 2024 and 2026, including conduct of courses with insufficient hours, failure to implement approved syllabi, and repeated irregular issuance of completion certificates. As a result, it was imposed a total fine of Two Hundred Fifty Thousand Pesos (P250,000.00) and an aggregate accreditation suspension period of two (2) years and six (6) months, with all suspension periods to run consecutively.

All penalties were determined in line with the LTO’s regulatory framework and reinforced by the One Strike Policy Memorandum dated 6 May 2025, which emphasizes strict adherence to procedures to safeguard public safety and maintain the integrity of the driver licensing system.

The LTO reiterates that accreditation is a privilege requiring continuous compliance with standards, as driving schools play a critical gatekeeping role in ensuring only properly trained individuals advance in the licensing process.

Tire or wheel vibration is one of the most common complaints a mechanic receives. It can range from a minor annoyance to a serious safety hazard. ​1. ⚖️ Unbalanced Tires or Wheels (The High-Speed Shake)
​This is the number one cause of vibration, particularly felt through the steering wheel at highway speeds (typically above 40 mph).
​The Problem: The weight distribution around the wheel/tire assembly is uneven. This imbalance creates a constant, repeating centrifugal force as the wheel spins rapidly.
​The Symptom: The vibration is speed-sensitive; it appears at a certain velocity, may lessen slightly at higher speeds, and disappears when slowing down.
​The Solution: Wheel balancing. Tiny weights are added to the wheel rim to counteract the heavy spots, restoring uniform weight distribution around the axis of rotation.
​Mechanic's Insight: An impact (like hitting a pothole) can dislodge old weights, or a new tire installation may simply be improperly balanced. This issue primarily affects the rotating assembly itself.

​The Symptom: This creates a constant drag, excessive heat (leading to rotor warp), and often a continuous, low-speed vibration or a pulling sensation even when the brakes aren't applied.
