House-to-House Fire Safety Survey
Iloilo City Fire Station First Battalion conducted a house-to-house fire safety survey covering 16 households in high-risk residential areas of Barangay Sto. Rosarion-Duran, City proper, Iloilo City.
The activity provided a clearer assessment of fire hazards and vulnerabilities, particularly within identified puroks and sitios. Through the survey, the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) gathered valuable information to determine the actual fire risks present in the community.
The results will assist barangay officials and residents in addressing identified fire safety concerns through public fire education, community awareness programs, and appropriate engineering or infrastructure interventions. This initiative reflects the commitment of the BFP and the local government unit to enhancing community safety and building a more fire-resilient barangay.

Martin Teofilo B Delgado, Fort San Pedro, Iloilo City dated 18 June 2026.
This activity is purposely conducted in order to enhance preparedness through the regular conduct of drills/exercises and to promote disaster resiliency.

SCHOOL EMERGENCY RESPONSE PLAN (SERP) & SAFE SCHOOL INITIATIVE|| SCHOOL COORDINATION
Iloilo City Fire Station headed by SFO1 Alfer Anthony B Malaca, conducted a School Coordination in relation to School Emergency Response Plan (SERP) & Safe School Initiative at A. Montes II Elementary School, City Proper, Iloilo City on June 16, 2026. The activity gathered students, faculty members or employees and staff to discuss important community concerns while promoting fire safety awareness and disaster preparedness.
The activity aimed to educate students / employees on proper fire safety practices and emergency response protocols, particularly during fire incidents and other disasters. It emphasized the importance of preparedness, prevention, and the correct actions to take during emergencies to help protect lives, reduce risks, and promote a culture of safety within the school community or the community.
