In partnership with DEVCON Philippines and powered by Sui, we brought the world of Web3 to life for Computer Science and Information Technology students. 🌐

From theory to ex*****on! Students got hands-on with Move to build real decentralized applications, arming themselves with the exact Web3 skills the current tech landscape demands. 💻🛠️

We did it! The CDG team has officially turned over all your incredible contributions for the 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗧𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘀 donation drive. Because of your overwhelming support, we were able to bring essential relief, food, and hydration to rescue animals beating this intense summer heat. ☀️🐶🐱

We want to extend our deepest and most heartfelt gratitude to the shelter for welcoming us with open arms. To the people who dedicate their lives to giving stray and abandoned animals a second chance—you are the real heroes.

A very special thank you goes out to 𝗞𝘂𝘆𝗮 𝗝𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗹 and 𝗠𝘀. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗲. Thank you for your tireless hard work, your warm hospitality during our turnover, and for the daily sacrifices you make to ensure these animals are safe, loved, and cared for.

We are incredibly proud to have partnered with the main organizers, 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗰𝗼𝗻 𝗜𝗹𝗼𝗶𝗹𝗼, to bring this two-day, hands-on tech experience to 𝗦𝘁. 𝗟𝘂𝗸𝗲'𝘀 𝗔𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝗩𝗮𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗮, 𝗔𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗾𝘂𝗲.

Seeing 𝟲𝟬 𝗮𝗺𝗮𝘇𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲𝘀 𝟳 𝘁𝗼 𝟭𝟭 dive into the world of technology with zero prior background was truly inspiring. Over the course of the workshop, these future innovators successfully:

🧠 Taught machine learning models to recognize drawings
🏎️ Programmed mBots with block-based coding
🎮 Discovered the magic of math through game development

𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 𝟮𝟲, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 at 𝗞𝗮𝗽𝗲 𝗚𝘂𝗶𝗱, the Centralian Developer Group joined a night of ideas, connections, and meaningful conversations alongside fellow builders and creators.

From sharing insights to meeting new people in the community, it was all about growth, collaboration, and good coffee ☕

This summer, the heat is on—and our local animal shelters are feeling it. 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗧𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘀 is stepping up to provide essential relief, and we need 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗥 help! 🐶🐱

CDG is launching a 𝗗𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲 to support local shelters dedicated to giving stray and abandoned animals a second chance. Currently, they are facing critical resource shortages and severe heat-related challenges. 𝗟𝗲𝘁'𝘀 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝘁𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗼 𝗲𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗰𝘂𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘆 𝗳𝗲𝗱, 𝗵𝘆𝗱𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵𝘆—𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝘁𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗹𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺!

Hats off to the Centralian Developer Group’s Pitching Team for bringing home the trophy at the CPUR ICreate SDG: Organizations and Fraternities Project Pitching 2026, presented by President Andre Borres, Vice President for External Affairs Jenny Grecia, and Assistant Secretary Claire Anne Cortuna on April 20, 2026. 🏆

Their project, A Centralized Lost and Found Portal for Central Philippine University, is a strong example of student-driven innovation designed to streamline lost-and-found processes, reduce student burden, and foster a culture of honesty and accountability within the Centralian community. 💡

Aligned with SDG 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure, the initiative transforms a common campus concern into a smart and scalable digital solution, embodying a “By Students, For Students” approach. It highlights how collaboration across disciplines can generate meaningful, real-world impact. 🤝 💻

Let us continue to champion initiatives that advance the Sustainable Development Goals by empowering innovation, fostering collaboration, and creating lasting impact within the university. 💙💛
