Ipinababatid naman ng LBRDC na sarado ang aming tanggapan ngayong Biyernes, Agosto 21, 2026, bilang paggunita sa Araw ni Ninoy Aquino alinsunod sa Proklamasyon Blg. 1006, s. 2025 (Special Non-Working Holiday).

LBRDC’s Proposed Special Economic Zone Master Plan Presented to LANDBANK IBG

Manila, Philippines—LBP Resources and Development Corporation (LBRDC), through its engaged master planning consultant WTA Architecture and Design Studio (WTA), presented the proposed Master Development Plan (MDP) for the 21-hectare Special Economic Zone (SEZ) in Tala, North Caloocan, to the Investment Banking Group of Land Bank of the Philippines (LANDBANK IBG) during a project briefing on July 28, 2026, at LANDBANK Plaza.

This briefing was led by LBRDC Chairman Lt Gen Antonio Ramon A Lim, President and Chief Executive Officer (PCEO) Col Ricardo C Juliano, and SEZ Administrator Rustica P. Locsin, along with representatives of WTA including Technical Director Ar. Kenneth Yu, Senior Architect EJ Rivera, and Feasibility and Market Analyst Oliver Juanir, and LANDBANK IBG Vice President Guian Angelo S. Dumalagan and Account Officer Kristian F. Sabiniano.

The proposed master plan is based on a Preliminary Highest and Best Use (HABU) Assessment prepared by WTA Architecture and Design Studio. The assessment outlines a framework for evaluating the development of the property into an industrial, logistics, and commercial district, with the proposed uses based on the assessment of the site’s characteristics and local market conditions.

The assessment incorporated site inspections, drone mapping, traffic counts along Malaria Road and St. Joseph Street, and consultations with 29 existing on-site tenants.

Ngayong Buwan ng Agosto 2026, ipinagdiriwang natin ang paggunita sa wikang Filipino na itinataguyod ng Komisyon sa Wikang Filipino (KWF) sa ilalim ng temang “𝐖𝐢𝐤𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐅𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐨 𝐚𝐭 𝐀𝐈: 𝐊𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐤𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐧 𝐬𝐚 𝐏𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐬𝐢𝐤 𝐚𝐭 𝐓𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐲 𝐬𝐚 𝐘𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐧𝐠 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐬𝐲𝐨𝐧.”

MANILA, Philippines — The LBP Resources and Development Corporation (LBRDC) conducted a Gender-Fair Language Training on August 10, 2026, at Lucky Chinatown, Binondo, Manila. With the theme “Strengthening Gender Mainstreaming Through Gender-Fair and Inclusive Language,” the training was held in support of the Corporation’s Gender and Development Program.

Mr. Philip Amiel B. Lopez, Assistant Division Chief of the Planning, Monitoring, and Evaluation Division of the Commission on Population and Development, served as the resource speaker and led discussions on professionalism, respect, and equal opportunity in the workplace.

Moreover, he emphasized the importance of language in communication, highlighting that word choice and punctuation affect meaning and intention once stated.

Despite the inclement weather and flooding, the event proceeded as scheduled, with the safety of all participants duly observed. A total of 26 LBRDC employees attended the event.
