Our Project Lusog-Linang Team also discussed various topics with our Health Lead Scholars. For the last day of our Basic Community Health Workers' Training, Asst. Prof. Mary Abigail Hernandez explored the promotion of clean and healthy environment, while Vince Delos Santos elaborated on the promotion of nutrition and oral hygiene.
Lastly, Asst. Prof. Earl Sumile synthesized the learnings and opportunities encountered throughout the sessions vis-a-vis the contexts and challenges of health in our country.

The third day of our Basic Community Health Workers' Training equipped our Health Lead Scholars with knowledge and skills on health promotion. Ma'am Luzviminda Rivera discussed priority health promotion areas, as well as prevention and control of common non-communicable diseases in the community.
Moreover, Assoc. Prof. Floreliz Ngaya-an elaborated on promoting nutrition among infants and young children in the community, as well as boosting community protection through immunization. Lastly, Asst. Prof. Kenny-lynn Baccay talked on caring for women and mothers in the community.
