So we designed a space that feels like all their journeys in one place.

A map of their family around the world, little details from places they’ve been, and colors that remind them of moments they loved.

A bistro made not just for dining—but for connection. 💕✨

Our clients for this project love to travel—to see the world, experience life, and explore different cultures through food.

We incorporated a map that marks where their family members are located across the globe—a small but meaningful detail that reflects their story, complimented by the signature Lawod blue wave wall throughout the space.

Each area carries subtle inspirations from their travels—places they’ve been, things they’ve loved, and moments they’ve experienced along the way. From the airplane pendant lights, to their fascination with maps and navigation, to the warm hues of sunset reflected in the conference room.

More than just a bistro, they envisioned this as a meeting point—punto—for family, friends, and loved ones. A space that brings people together, just like their journeys have. Punto Viajero.

And that’s the feeling they hope to share with every guest who walks in. ✨

Lawod Bistro, in .resort 🌊

The blue wave wall—some say it’s the ocean, some say it’s the mountains—and honestly, we love both answers.

We didn’t expect this wall to become a conversation starter. But seeing people talk about it, share their thoughts, and bond over different interpretations made us realize that maybe we did something right—and maybe that’s what good design does.

“Lawod,” in Waray-Waray, refers to the open sea—vast, deep, and boundless. This became our inspiration for the blue wave wall, echoing the infinite horizon of Guiuan, where the ocean stretches endlessly, meeting the silhouette of distant mountains.

So if you see the ocean, you’re right.
If you see the mountains, you’re right too.

Because in this space, both exist. The ocean reflects the mountains, and the mountains shape the movement of the waves—complementing each other, just like perspectives do.

Perspective is everything. We may see the same thing, but we experience it differently. ✨

A quiet glow at dusk 🌅✨

This wall lamp was designed to echo the warmth of Guiuan’s sunsets, soft, subtle, and calming. A small detail that transforms the mood of the space.

The Voyager’s Suite 🌅✨
Where every sunset in Guiuan becomes part of the space.

Soft peach walls echo the sky at dusk, while vernacular wood, lush greenery, and handwoven rattan reflect the stories of local hands and heritage. A space designed not just for rest, but for curious souls, quiet moments, and journeys waiting to unfold✨
