We gather not only to celebrate the achievements of women, but to honor their vital role as sinag ng kapayapaan in our community. Ang bawat kababaihan ay ilaw ng tahanan at haligi ng lipunan—nagbibigay liwanag, pag-asa, at direksyon sa ating bayan.

Sa temang ‘Kababaihan, Sinag ng Kapayapaan,’ kinikilala natin ang kakayahan ng kababaihan na magtaguyod ng pagkakaisa, respeto, at malasakit. Women are not only nurturers—they are leaders, peacebuilders, and agents of change. Sa bawat hakbang ninyo, dala ninyo ang lakas na kayang baguhin ang mundo.

Hindi hadlang ang anumang hamon upang ang kababaihan ay umangat. Sa halip, ito ay nagiging daan upang mas tumibay, mas lumakas, at mas magningning. Patuloy nating ipaglaban ang karapatan, dignidad, at boses ng bawat babae—dahil ang isang empowered na kababaihan ay susi sa maunlad at mapayapang komunidad.

On behalf of LGU - Datu Salibo headed by our municipal mayor Hon. Omar K Ali, naninindigan kami sa pagsusulong ng mga programa at serbisyong nagbibigay proteksyon, oportunidad, at pagkilala sa kababaihan. On this culmination program, nawa’y dalhin natin ang inspirasyon at lakas na ating natamo. This is not just a celebration—it is a call to action. Sama-sama nating itaguyod ang isang lipunang may pagkakapantay-pantay, respeto, at kapayapaan. Mabuhay ang kababaihan!

The Gender and Development (GAD) Office of the Municipality of Datu Salibo successfully spearheaded the Ramadhan Symposium and Iftar Kanduli held last March 07, 2026, at the Municipal Hall Evacuation Center, Brgy. Sambulawan Datu Salibo, MDS.

The Local government unit of Datu Salibo lead this institutional initiative in collaboration with Gender and Development and SPMS Non-government organization, the GAD Office organized this gathering to align the spiritual observance of the Holy Month of Ramadhan with the core values of National Women’s Month. This symposium served as a premier platform for communal reflection and the promotion of an inclusive society.

We were profoundly honored to host our distinguished guest speakers, Dr. Kamarudin Dodo and Sheikh Mohamadali Jamil Esmael, whose profound Islamic wisdom and spiritual guidance provided invaluable enlightenment to all attendees. Their participation was instrumental in the success of this GAD-led endeavor.

The GAD Office extends its deepest gratitude to the Municipal Leadership under Hon. Omar K Ali, our esteemed speakers, and the constituents of Datu Salibo for their active participation in this meaningful celebration of faith and community development. ✨💜

Mashaa allah Sigay ka Datu Salibo, ang kauna-unahang Grand Islamic Symposium and Free-Iftar Kanduli na may kasamang FIREWORKS DISPLAY ay magaganap na sa darating na MARCH | 07 | 2026 (Saturday/Sapto) dito sa Municipal Hall ng Datu Salibo. Marami po tayong kaabang-abang na mga programa sa inisiyatibo ng ating kasalukuyang Municipal Mayor HON. OMAR K. ALI 😇

Ina-anyayahan po namin ang lahat na pumunta at dumalo ngunit paalala po sa publiko na bawal po magdala ng BAG para sa safety and security ng ating program upang matagumpay natin itong maisagawa, magkakaroon po tayo ng ISLAMIC SYMPOSIUM na magsisimula 1:00pm sa hapon.

𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞 || Auzubillah wa alhamdulillah, in the name of Allah the most gracious, the most merciful 🤲🏻

Datu Salibo Municipality tru the Gender and Development Department, Municipal Public Safety and Security, Local Youth Development Officer, and Women & Children Protection Desk participated the Skills on Community Discourse and Mediation with Conflict Sensitive Leadership for Local Government Unit (LGU). The training - Workshop is conducted by United Youth of the Philippines - Women, Inc. at Alnor, Cotabato City on February 12 - 14, 2026.

These three day trainings aims to strengthen the Gender sensitive conflict prevention mechanism in the Bangsamoro Region.

And in behalf of our Municipality of Datu Salibo under the administration of Hon. Omar K Ali, We are fully committed to utilize & share the outputs of the workshop to our respective communities.

The LGU of Datu Salibo in the presence of GAD Focal, MSSD representative, WCPD and and representative from Administrative Office participated the Community Driven Safety and Security for Early Warning and Early Response (EWER) Accompaniment Activity conducted by the Ministry of Public Order and Security. This activity held at Alamid, Shariff Aguak, MDS last february 6, 2026.

Also the LGU of Datu Salibo under the administration of our Municipal Mayor Hon. Omar K Ali commit to support any activities and programs anchored for the security and safety of the constituents of Datu Salibo.

Buffer lists of 𝗪𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗚𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗺 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺

The "buffer" refers to the list of potential beneficiaries who have been identified but are pending final verification or waiting for an available slot in the program. The validation process is how these "buffer" individuals are officially confirmed and onboarded as beneficiaries.

With this, The Local Government Unit of Datu Salibo under the administration of our munincipal mayor Hon. Omar K Ali in partnership with the Department of Social Welfare and Development conducted Buffer/ wait list program.

This rigorous validation helps the government ensure that the program effectively reaches those most in need, as part of the national effort to combat hunger.

G.I.V.E.H.E.A.R.T MEDICAL MISSION - Sebisyong MAPADTIMBANG 🫶

5th day of February 2026 || Isang napakahalagang araw para sa bayan ng Datu Salibo, Maguindanao del Sur, matapos maisagawa ang malawakan at matagumpay na Give Heart Medical Mission ng Maguindanao del Sur Give Heart Medical Team!

Dinala nila ang kompletong serbisyong pangkalusugan para masigurong bawat pamilya ay magkaroon ng pagkakataong mapangalagaan ang kanilang kalusugan nang walang gastos. Ilan sa mga serbisyong ibinahagi sa ating komunidad ay ang:

- Libreng Check-Up
- Libreng Gamot
- Libreng Dental Check-Up
- Libreng Bunot ng Ngipin
- Libreng Tuli para sa kabataan
- Libreng Check-up sa mata
- Libreng Gupit
- Feeding Program
- Distribusyon ng armed chairs sa limang Schools sa Datu Salibo

Hindi lamang ito ordinaryong medical outreach—ito ay patunay na patuloy ang malasakit at pagiging bukas-palad ng ating lalawigan sa pangangailangan ng mga tao. Isang hakbang patungo sa mas malusog, mas matatag, at mas masayang komunidad.

At hindi rin matatawaran ang suporta ng ating butihing Municipal Mayor Hon. Omar K Ali, Vice-mayor Hon. Mustala S. Tulino at ng ating mga Sangguniyang Bayan. Taos-pusong pasasalamat din kina Governor Datu Ali M. Midtimbang at Vice Governor Ustadz Hisham S. Nando sa patuloy na suporta at malasakit para sa kalusugan at kapakanan ng mga mamamayan ng Maguindanao del Sur.

Maraming salamat sa lahat ng naglaan ng panahon, pagod, at puso para maihatid ang serbisyong tunay na para sa tao. Sama-sama nating itaguyod ang isang Maguindanao del Sur na may malasakit, may puso, at may pagkakaisa!
