These words reflect the depth of suffering Jesus endured as He carried the weight of humanity’s sin.

In that moment, He experienced the loneliness and separation that sin brings, taking upon Himself what we deserved.

Yet even in His cry, He still called out to God, showing us that faith can remain even in confusion and pain.

When we feel abandoned or overwhelmed, we can remember that Jesus has walked that path before us.
