The ABM Scribes successfully conducted the Seminar-Workshop: E-Bookkeep-mo E-Tesda-mo (Accounting for Non-Accountants), a two-day activity that aimed to enhance participants’ understanding of basic accounting and bookkeeping concepts.

We extend our sincere appreciation to our speakers, Ms. Jemmalyn Gaco-Aloc, CPA, MBA, and Mr. Eugene O. Balindan, CPA, MBA, for generously sharing their expertise and experiences, which made the seminar both informative and engaging.

This seminar-workshop was led by Ma’am Francia Salvino, ABM Scribes Adviser, with the support and efforts of the ABM Scribes officers.

Finally! The two-day seminar workshop led by Mrs. Francia R. Salvino–ABM Scribes Adviser, along with ABM Scribes executives has officially happened. Every student was filled with fresh insights, information, and experiences on January 7-8, 2025. Mr. Eugene O. Balindan, CPA, MBA, the guest speaker for the event titled “2025 𝐞-𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐤-𝐤𝐞𝐞𝐩 𝐌𝐨, 𝐞-𝐓𝐞𝐬𝐭-𝐃𝐚 𝐌𝐨!: 𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐍𝐨𝐧-𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐬,” with the theme: “𝑊𝑒 𝐹𝑖𝑛𝑑 𝐽𝑜𝑦 𝑖𝑛 𝐵𝑎𝑙𝑎𝑛𝑐𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝐵𝑜𝑜𝑘𝑠,” gives the necessary insights and teachings to each learner. With these, it left every student feeling inspired and enlightened about what they could encounter in the future, in relation to accounting-related topics.

Every student in Grades 11 and 12 has demonstrated their abilities in presenting and juggling their assigned tasks. Thanks to the wonderful people who organized this lecture and workshop, the event was a huge success.

On August 2, 2024, the orientation for Grade 11 and Grade 12 ABM students was successfully conducted. The event featured the activity 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗨𝗽 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀: 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗢𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, with the theme "𝘔𝘰𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘛𝘰𝘸𝘢𝘳𝘥𝘴 𝘕𝘦𝘸 𝘍𝘳𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘦𝘳𝘴: 𝘌𝘯𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘒𝘚𝘈 𝘰𝘧 𝘚𝘵𝘶𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘍𝘢𝘤𝘶𝘭𝘵𝘺 𝘰𝘯 𝘐𝘊𝘛 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘚𝘵𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘶𝘱 𝘛𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘴." ✨️💻

The aim of the activity was to raise awareness about technology, foster innovation, and develop the entrepreneurial mindset of ABM students. They also expressed their support for various industries, including call centers, online workers, and others. Many students participated and engaged in the event. A heartfelt thanks to everyone for their enthusiastic participation and support.
