PANALANGIN: PAG-USAPAN NATIN

Isang bagay na dapat marealize ng isang tao tungkol sa panalangin ay ito... "PRAYER CAN'T CHANGE THE WILL OF GOD." Kung ano ang itinakda ng Diyos, iyon ang magaganap.

Hindi natin mababali ang Diyos para gawin ang anumang gustuhin natin, na para bang may mali sa Kanya o sa Kanyang mga ginagawa sa buhay natin. God is perfect in every way, at wala nang kailangan pang baguhin sa Kanya.

Kung gano'n, para saan pa ang panalangin? Ano ang silbi ng panalangin kung hindi naman pala nito magagarantiya na ibibigay ng Diyos anuman ang gustuhin natin? Yan ang sasagutin natin BUKAS sa ating bagong video.

"Gusto kong bumait pero di ko magawa"

Sa mga fans ng Pinoy Rap noong early 2000's malamang narinig niyo na ang kantang yan. And even if hindi kayo pamilyar, I'm sure at some point in your life nag-desisyon kayo na "gusto ko nang baguhin ang sarili ko."

So you kept on trying, but kept on failing. You even tried to listen to what people said about you--Ano ang mga good qualities mo na dapat mo pang linangin? Ano ang mga mali sa pagkatao mo na dapat mong baguhin?--but then sa dulo ng lahat napagod ka lang.

You even followed social media influencers na nagtuturo ng human morals... They sounded wise, pero sa iyong pakikinig sa kanilang mga payo you ended up isolating yourself from people. May nag-improve ba sa pagkatao? O naging indifferent lang?

On our next video, we will know... Nakakatulong ba talaga ang "self help"? Tama bang sundin ko ang mga advice for self improvement? What does the Bible say about it?

Kristiano, pero may bisyo?

Isa itong usapin na dapat nating tinatalakay on a spiritual level, through the lenses of Scripture. Maaaring sa isip natin, wala itong epekto eternally. But the Bible is saying otherwise.

And no... Hindi lang paninigarilyo, paglalasing, o pagiging dependent on narcotics ang maituturing na bisyo. Bisyo rin ang katakawan, pagsusugal, panghahamak ng kapwa, o labis na paghahangad ng satisfaction sa iba't-ibang bagay at gawain na para bang doon na nakadepende ang buong buhay at kaligayahan mo.

Vices are not only detrimental to the body. It also affects our spirituality. When we seek pleasure in the things of this world rather than God, we start not making Him the object of our affection, devotion, and ultimately our worship.

So, can vices co-exist with genuine faith? Sagutin natin yan!

Many people 𝑙𝑜𝑜𝑘 connected to Jesus…
- They attend worship regularly
- They serve in church
- Some even stand behind the pulpit
- They appear godly—kind, disciplined, respectable
- They carry Bibles and share devotionals

From the outside, everything seems fruitful.

But look closer.

There is 𝑛𝑜 𝑙𝑖𝑓𝑒 from the Holy Spirit within them.
They 𝑎𝑝𝑝𝑒𝑎𝑟 𝑐𝑜𝑛𝑛𝑒𝑐𝑡𝑒𝑑 to Christ… yet 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑟𝑒𝑎𝑙𝑖𝑡𝑦 of that connection 𝑖𝑠 𝑚𝑖𝑠𝑠𝑖𝑛𝑔.

They have a 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵, but not a 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗶𝘁.
They have an 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗴𝗼𝗱𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀, but not the 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗲𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁.

So here’s the question you cannot afford to ignore:

"THE WORD OF THE LORD"

Studying the names of God in Judaism has been both shocking and deeply fascinating to me.

One term that stands out is Memra d’Adonai—“the Word of the LORD.” In Jewish thought, this expression is often associated with God’s self-expression, especially when He reveals His message to the prophets in the Old Testament.

Then you come to Gospel of John 1:1–14, and it’s astonishing: “The Word became flesh and dwelt among us.”

Jesus is not merely a messenger of God—He is the very Word of God in human form. The same divine Word through whom God made Himself known is the One who took on flesh.

So when the Old Testament says, “the word of the LORD came to…” it points to God actively revealing Himself—ultimately fulfilled in Christ. While we should be careful not to overspecify every instance as a direct appearance of Jesus, the trajectory is unmistakable: all of God’s revelation finds its fulfillment in Him.

This is exactly what Epistle to the Hebrews 1:1–2 declares: God spoke in many ways through the prophets, but in these last days, He has spoken to us by His Son.

The consistency is breathtaking—Jesus is the final, fullest revelation of God, the eternal Word made visible.

PARENTS, PAKIBASA!

The worst inheritance you can give your children is not the absence of wealth, education, property, or material gain—it is giving them a religion without Christ.

Hindi pwedeng impose ka lang ng impose ng religion. You must fall on your knees and plead for God’s mercy—that He would rescue them and draw them to the foot of the cross.

Maraming mga magulang ang guilty rito:
- Uutusan ang anak mag-church na para bang ang church ang magliligtas sa anak.
- Itutulak silang mag-ministry na para bang pag may ministry ang anak "spiritually matured" na.
- Nire-require ang Bible reading na para bang academic task lang.
- Pangunahan sila sa "panalangin ng pagtanggap" na para bang sapat na iyon para siguruhing ligtas ang anak.

Parents, wala sa kahit anong iyan ang makapagliligtas sa mga anak ninyo!

Sabi nga mismo ng Panginoon in John 6:44, “No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him.” Hindi mo mai-impose ang kaligtasan sa mga anak mo. Salvation is solely the work of God.

So pray for your children. Do not merely instruct them—intercede for them.

Proverbs 22:6 says, “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.”
The word train (Hebrew: chanach) carries the idea of consecration, dedication, even inauguration.

Nakakaligtaan ng maraming mga magulang ang essential meaning ng talatang iyan sa aklat ng mga Kawikaan. They reduce “training” to religious routine—raising children who are familiar with Christian activity, but strangers to Christ Himself.

No, dear parents! Huwag mo lang iutos sa mga anak ninyo kung ano ang dapat nilang gawin.

Through prayer, faithful discipleship, and a life that reflects the gospel, consecrate your children to the Lord. Ipagkatiwala mo sila sa Diyos. With love, ibabad mo sila sa mga katotohanang inihayag ng Diyos sa simula pa lang—so that as they grow, hindi na magiging iba sa kanila ang mga katotohanang iyon. They will feel at home with it.
