YLEA 2026 Implementation
๐ Celebrating the next generation of leaders.
As part of the G.LEAD Program of JCI WoMandaue, the 2026 Youth Leadership Excellence Award (YLEA), a JCI National Program, was successfully implemented last June 1, 2026, at Bagong Pilipinas, our venue partner.
The program recognized and celebrated 85 youth leaders from 22 public schools in Mandaue City through the support and collaboration of the Department of Education โ Mandaue City Division.
Our heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Bianito A. Dagatan, EdD, CESO V, Schools Division Superintendent; Mr. Mark Carlo Seno, Senior Education Program Specialist for the Human Resource Development Unit; and Mr. Kevin Maringuran, Youth Formation Division Focal Person, for their unwavering support and commitment to youth leadership development.
Prior to the awarding ceremony, a leadership session entitled โLead Now: Realign, Reset & Renewโ was conducted last April 30 by 2026 JCI WoMandaue President Glaiza Ilagan in partnership with UC Cares Banilad, inspiring student leaders from public schools across Mandaue City to lead with purpose, resilience, and impact.

As part of the G.LEAD Prograof JCI WoMandaue, Prof. Gleanzzy Reyes-Maceda, Psychology Professor from the University of San Carlos, facilitated a Mental Health Awareness and Resilience Workshop for youth leaders in Mandaue City last April 30, 2026.
Through meaningful discussions and practical insights, participants gained valuable knowledge on mental wellness, self-awareness, and resilienceโempowering them to lead with confidence, strength, and purpose.

JCI WoMandaue successfully held Cinema of Hope: The Devil Wears Prada 2, bringing together movie lovers, partners, and supporters for an unforgettable evening in support of community initiatives.
