This memorable occasion symbolizes not only the acceptance of leadership positions but also the commitment to serve with integrity, accountability, and dedication.

The ceremony was made even more meaningful through the confirmation of 𝐀𝐭𝐭𝐲. 𝐄𝐝𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐌𝐚𝐠𝐥𝐮𝐜𝐨𝐭, 𝐏𝐡.𝐃., whose presence highlighted the significance of responsible leadership and public service. “𝐒𝐚 𝐒𝐂𝐂, 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐚 𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐔𝐧𝐚!”

The Bonifacio R. Bacaltos Sports and Cultural Centrum buzzed with energy and purpose earlier today as students gathered for the SCC Student Assembly 2026. Starting promptly at 9:00 AM, this significant event brought together learners from the 2nd to 4th year levels, marking an important milestone in their preparation for the new academic year ahead.

Far more than just a regular school activity, the assembly stands as a vital platform where students are given clear direction and essential information to help them navigate their studies smoothly. Throughout the program, participants were thoroughly oriented on key matters including updated school policies, academic standards and guidelines, available student support services, and other relevant announcements designed to ensure a safe, orderly, and productive learning environment. It is a time when the institution and its learners meet on common ground, aligning expectations and reinforcing the shared values that define the SCC community.

Guided by the slogan “Sa SCC, Disiplina ang Una!”, the gathering emphasizes that responsibility and compliance are the foundation of every student’s success. In keeping with this principle, the school formally announced that the “No Orientation, No Enrollment” policy will be strictly enforced for the 1st Semester of Academic Year 2026–2027. This means attendance in today’s assembly is not optional; students who are unable to join will not be issued their Student Clearance. The rule underscores the school’s commitment to making sure every learner enters the semester fully informed, aware of their rights and duties, and ready to observe the standards set for them.

As the program progressed, it was clear that the spirit of discipline and cooperation was already present among those in attendance. Faces reflected attention and readiness, showing that the SCC student body understands that being informed is the first step toward doing well, and that discipline serves as their greatest tool in achieving their educational goals. This assembly sets the tone for the months to come, reminding everyone that at SCC, growth begins with order, and excellence starts with compliance.

Recognition Day 2026 held at Bonifacio R. Bacaltos Sports and Cultural Centrum this May 28, 2026, was filled with joy, pride, and inspiration as students, parents, teachers, and guests gathered to celebrate the achievements of learners for the academic year. The program formally started with the welcome address of Mr. Edward Maglucot, who explained the theme “ACHIEVE”, which stands for Accountability, Competence, Hardwork, Integrity, Exemplary, Versatility, and Efficiency. His message reminded everyone that success comes through dedication, discipline, and perseverance.

The celebration became more meaningful through the comforting and inspiring message shared by guest speaker, the first ever top notcher of Sibonga Community College, Ms. Harry Lou Unabia. During her talk, she highlighted the words “keep showing up,” encouraging students to continue believing in themselves despite challenges and difficulties. She reminded everyone that hard work, patience, and determination can help them achieve their dreams and goals in life.

The presence of Vice Mayor Mariano Dotis Laude and Councilor Thomas Codilla also added honor and significance to the occasion. Both the Vice Mayor and the Councilor shared their inspiring messages, which made the event more meaningful, motivating, and uplifting for the students as they continue their academic journey. Vice Mayor Mariano Dotis Laude also encouraged the students to “Dream Big,” reminding them to never limit their potential and aspirations in life.

The highlight of the event was the distribution of certificates and recognition awards to deserving students who demonstrated outstanding academic performance and perseverance throughout the school year. Proud smiles, loud applause, and unforgettable moments filled the venue as students walked on stage to receive their honors and achievements.

The program concluded with the heartfelt closing remarks of Doc. Perla B. Sarceno, who congratulated both the parents and students for their sacrifices, dedication, and achievements throughout the academic year. She also shared the inspiring Bible verse from Proverbs 3:5-6, saying, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.” Her message reminded everyone to continue trusting God in every journey and success they pursue in life.

The entire program became a memorable celebration of excellence, dedication, and dreams. Recognition Day 2026 not only honored academic achievements but also inspired students to continue striving for success and becoming better individuals in the future.
