Pork Siomai is perhaps the most popular dumpling here in the Philippines and elsewhere. The origin of Siomai (Shumai) could be traced back to the Yuan dynasty, around 700 years ago. It was invented in the northern regions of China and then slowly spread its fame down south, and was glorified in the teahouses in Canton and Hong Kong.

Here in Philippines it is best known as a street food snack, loved by many for it's flavour and affordability. However most of the Siomai that are available in the market right now are made with extenders and artificial flavorings. That is why we came out with our own version! Made from pure meat and finest ingridients, it is a cross between the traditional Chinese Siomai and the Pinoy version we all know. We made it meaty, chunky and juicy for all of you to enjoy!
