CNU Catmon Relief Operations for Northern Cebu

We are immensely proud and grateful to conclude our updates on the CNU Catmon Relief Operations for Northern Cebu, conducted following the recent earthquake. Your overwhelming support allowed us to successfully deliver urgent aid across seven municipalities: San Remigio, Medellin, Tabuelan, Daanbantayan, Bogo, Borbon, and Tabogon.

Over the course of our focused relief efforts on October 3rd, 4th, and 7th, 2025, the generosity of our community made a tangible difference on the ground:

October 3rd (Day 1): We delivered help to Tabuelan, San Remigio, Medellin, Daanbantayan, and Bogo. We distributed essentials including 2,000 bottles of water, 475 packs of noodles, โ‚ฑ1,000 worth of coffee and biscuits, 50 kilos of rice (through the generosity of one donor), and 1,200 buns, including 200 buns generously donated for free by Mr. and Mrs. Odal.

October 4th (Day 2): We headed to Tabogon and Borbon, distributing bottled water and arroz caldo to affected families.

October 7th (Day 3): We returned to Borbon and Tabogon to distribute essential shelter materials, including trapal (tarpaulins).

Your support was phenomenal, resulting in the distribution of thousands of necessary items and crucial shelter materials.

Seeing the smiles and hearing the "Daghang Salamat" from the families we reached made every effort truly worthwhile.

For complete accountability to our donors, here is the final financial breakdown:

Total Donations Raised: โ‚ฑ40,450.00
Total Expenses: โ‚ฑ41,294.00
Amount Covered by Organizers: โ‚ฑ844.00

The CNU Catmon organizers personally covered the additional โ‚ฑ844.00 to ensure maximum impact for the victims. The full liquidation report is attached for your review.

DAGHANG SALAMAT from the entire CNU Catmon faculty and staff. We are deeply fulfilled knowing that, together, we made a significant difference in the lives of our fellow Cebuanos affected by the disaster.
