"NOVEMBER IS NATIONAL READING MONTH"📚📖🙌

Our Reading Month Celebration concluded with joy and creativity as all learners proudly joined this activity themed, "Reading is a bridge to a future full of hope", at the CNHS Covered Court on November 25, 2025. All students showcased their enthusiasm for reading by bringing their favorite book characters to life. The parade was filled with lively energy, excitement, and cheerful smiles as they confidently walked in their colorful and imaginative costumes. 👗📖🧙‍♂️🧚‍♀️

Each grade level brought their own world of literature to life, and from elaborate costumes to confident performances, our learners proved that reading is not just a habit, it is a journey, a celebration, and an inspiration. 📖✨ After all the fun, we gathered for the awarding of all certificates and awards to the winners of all competitions, honoring their hard work and talent throughout the month.

A big salute to our CNHS learners, teachers, and parents for making this event a resounding success. Your support continues to foster a culture of reading, imagination, and lifelong learning. ❤️ Here’s to a month filled with stories and to students who continue to bring those stories to life! 🌟💛

🎨‼️ ENGLISH EXPRESS CLUB LOGO MAKING CONTEST ‼️🎨

Hello, Canubians! Are you ready to unleash your creativity? ✨🙌
We are launching a Logo Making Contest to design the official emblem of the English Express Club!

This is your chance to visually represent our unity, identity, and shared love for the English language through art and imagination!

📌 Contest Mechanics:

1. The contest is open to ALL STUDENTS of Canubing National High School.

2. Each participant must create an original logo that best represents the goals, values, and identity of the English Express Club.

3. Logos should be created during the student’s vacant time or at home only.

4. All entries must be submitted to the respective English Express representatives on SEPTEMBER 5.

5. All submitted logos will be judged using the following criteria:

Relevance to English Express Club - 30%
Visual Impact - 30%
Originality - 25%
Color Harmony - 15%

6. The contest will follow an ELIMINATION FORMAT:

🔹 First Round: Entries will be judged per section. One (1) winner per section will be selected.

🔹 Second Round: Section winners will compete within their respective grade levels. One (1) grade-level representative will be chosen.

🔹 Final Round: Grade-level representatives will compete at the school-wide level, and one (1) OVERALL WINNER will be declared.

7. All submitted logos must be original. Plagiarism or use of stock logos/templates will result in disqualification.

8. The winning logo will become the official emblem of the English Express Club and will be used in all club-related materials and events.

Hello CNHS Expressers!

Today is the launching of READATHON: Reading While Going Places as part of the National Reading Month Celebration.

We have READATHON for both beginners and advanced.

For our Readathon challengers from Grades 7 & 8, the First Station is situated at 10-MPB classroom.

On the other hand, for our Grades 9 & 10, and SHS, our First Station is situated at 9-LDR classroom.

Mechanics of READATHON:

1. The challengers will finish a set of reading tasks in different reading stations.
2. After reading, they need to accomplish the tasks that come along with the reading selection or text.
3. The challengers need to follow instructions in order for them to arrive at the correct reading station.
4. Those who will be able to accomplish all the tasks in different reading stations will be considered Readathon Challengers. Those whose answers are all correct and all passed the reading stations intended for their level will be Readathon Finishers.
