SFC leaders and Couple Coordinators, let's talk about our hearts because Advent is almost upon us. SFC PFO brings you an online recollection. This is tonight (Nov 27) at 8:00 PM (PH time). This is via Zoom. And this is Free! Registration will close 1 hour before the recollection begins.

The Solemnity of 𝕮𝖍𝖗𝖎𝖘𝖙 𝖙𝖍𝖊 𝕶𝖎𝖓𝖌 celebrates Jesus Christ as the supreme ruler over all creation and history.

It reminds the faithful that Christ’s kingdom is founded on truth, justice, and self-giving love rather than earthly power. The feast invites believers to examine their hearts and align their lives with the values of Christ’s reign. It also offers hope by affirming that goodness and mercy ultimately triumph through Christ’s authority.

Celebrated at the end of the liturgical year, it points toward Christ’s final victory and the fulfillment of God’s eternal kingdom.

Held on November 8, 2025, at the Baliangao Multi-Purpose Gymnasium, the Singles for Christ - Calamba Chapter Music Ministry joyfully took part in this year’s HIGALAAY 2025! 🙌

Bro. Dennis Joshua Yee led the uplifting Praise and Worship, uniting hearts and voices in faith and fellowship. 💒🎶

The event gathered different Parish Youth Leaders from across the Deanery and was hosted by Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Parish, Baliangao, Misamis Occidental.

Truly, a day filled with faith, friendship, and the spirit of community! ❤️✨

After six years, nahibalik na ang St. Mark Deanery Friendship Games!
Mga kabatan-onan sa St. Mark, magmaya na usab kita! Mga Higala, tara na!

This 2025, we joyfully gather once again to celebrate the youthful spirit of faith, friendship, and mission among the young people of the St. Mark Deanery — from the parishes of Calamba, Plaridel, Sapang Dalaga, Looc, Concepcion Mission Station, Macalibre Alto, and our host, Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Parish, Baliangao, Misamis Occidental.

Under the leadership of Rave Ryan Guillermo, Deanery PYM Leader, and with the full support and approval of our parish priest, Rev. Fr. Rogelio Taguran, we unite once more to celebrate our friendship and faith through sports and fellowship. Uban sa atong teme nga “SMD Youth: Gipalig-on sa panag-ambit, gihiusa sa pagtuo, gipuy-an ang misyon inubanan sa paglaum.”

As we prepare for this meaningful encounter, we humbly ask for your prayers and support, that this year’s Higalaay 2025 may strengthen the bond of our youth, deepen our faith, and renew our mission as one family in Christ.

Padayon ta mga Higala! Together, let us live our faith with joy and hope!

Today, we pause to remember the souls of our loved ones who have gone before us. Their absence is deeply felt, but our faith reminds us that death is not the end—it is a passage to eternal life with Christ.
💭 Personal Reflection:
As I light a candle and whisper a prayer, I’m reminded of the quiet moments I shared with those I’ve lost—their laughter, their wisdom, their love. Though they are no longer physically present, their spirit lives on in the way I love, serve, and believe. I entrust them to God's mercy, and I find peace in knowing that one day, we will be reunited in His glory

This momentous occasion will take place on October 22, 2025, at 5:00 PM, during the Pontifical Mass for the Feast of St. John Paul II. We are blessed to have the Most Rev. Martin Sarmiento Jumoad, D.D. presiding over this sacred rite.

Clothed in the garments that symbolize humility and purity, this ceremony is a powerful, visible sign of their "yes" to Christ and His Church. We invite the faithful to come and support these men as they are symbolically clothed for their future ministry.
