The City College of Calamba (CCC) is a public higher education institution in Laguna established in 2006. We are competitive and like to join tournaments.

This is the official chess club of CCC's chess Valiants and chess enthusiasts of CCC. We are chess enthusiasts from the City College of Calamba.

The Philippine Sports Commission – National Chess Federation of the Philippines (PSC–NCFP) Barangay Chess Development Program, held in Brgy. Halang, Calamba, Laguna on April 19, 2026.

Princes Alyssa Manzano showcased her skills on the chessboard, finishing with a solid standing. Though not yet an official player, she stepped up in her first-ever tournament outside of school, holding her ground against veterans with composure in every round. ♟️✨

CCC Chess Knights Valiants Achievement

We are proud to share that our Chess Club member Alvin || B. Araos emerged as Champion (6/6 undefeated) during the Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) and National Chess Federation of the Philippines (NCFP) Barangay Palo Alto Chess Development Program, held at Barangay Palo Alto Covered Court today, March 15, 2026.

Also a student from CCC:
🏅 Reyes Feliciano IV – 5th Place (5/6)
🏅 Tadeo II Mark Marlon – 15th Place (3½ points)

This tournament gave our players valuable experience by facing different competitors while developing their strategic thinking, critical thinking, and sportsmanship. It also serves as preparation for upcoming school tournaments like Sportfest and Calambalympics.
