BRONZE MEDALIST SHINES IN BATANG PINOY 2025

Francesco Raphael E. Briones, a Grade 7 student of Wesleyan Academy, proudly represented the Pasig contingent in the prestigious Batang Pinoy 2025 held in General Santos City from October 25 to October 30. Competing in the Soft Tennis event, Francesco displayed exceptional focus, grit, and dedication, securing a well-deserved bronze medal for the team.

More than an athlete, Briones is truly a blend of athletic talent and academic excellence. He continues to stand out not only on the court but also in the classroom, proving that success is possible when passion and discipline work hand in hand.

As a young achiever whose efforts inspire both his peers and mentors, Wesleyan Academy celebrates his remarkable performance and looks forward to witnessing more milestones in his journey.

LOOK: EARTHQUAKE PREPAREDNESS LECTURE EQUIPS WESLEYANIANS WITH LIFE-SAVING KNOWLEDGE

To strengthen disaster awareness and safety readiness among students, Wesleyan Academy conducted an Earthquake Preparedness Lecture on November 4, 2025, at the Wesleyan Church Chapel, in partnership with the Department of Science and Technology – Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (DOST–PHIVOLCS).

In honor of the dedication and hard work of every mentor, Wesleyan Academy joyfully celebrated World Teachers’ Day on October 3, 2025, with the theme "Beyond the Lesson Plan: Celebrating the Lifelong Imprint". The event was spearheaded by the Student Executive Council (SEC) in collaboration with the Creative and Artistic Students for Campus Development Organization (CASCADE).

The celebration highlighted the giving of certificates and tokens to the teachers for their dedication and passion in the world of teaching. It also featured fun games, musical performances, and dance presentations by the students as tokens of gratitude to their beloved teachers. Laughter, loud cheering, and appreciation filled the venue as students showcased their talents and expressed their heartfelt thanks through their performances.

The program served as a meaningful reminder of the teachers’ unwavering commitment and passion for guiding learners toward excellence. The Wesleyan community extended its deepest appreciation to all educators who continue to touch lives and shape generations.

Ipinagdiwang ng Wesleyan Academy ang Buwan ng Wika noong Agosto 29, 2025 sa pamamagitan ng makulay na “Pista sa Nayon” na naghatid ng masining na paglalakbay sa iba’t ibang rehiyon ng bansa. Itinampok ang mga munting tahanan na sumasalamin sa kasaysayan at pamumuhay ng Pilipino, kasabay ng makukulay na kasuotan, masasarap na pagkaing pamanang-lahi, at mga sayaw na nagsilbing pintig ng ating kultura at kasaysayan. Higit pa sa isang selebrasyon, ito’y naging pagsasanib ng sining at diwa ng nasyonalismo na isang paalala na ang wika at kultura ang ilaw na gumagabay sa pagkakaisa ng sambayanan.

LOOK: Rooted in Faith: A Spirit-Filled Start for WA Community

“Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” – Proverbs 22:6 (KJV)

Wesleyan Academy held its first Chapel Service of the new academic year on July 15, 2025 at Wesleyan Church, gathering students from Grades 1 to 10 for a meaningful time of worship and reflection. The event was divided into three sessions: one for Grades 1–3, Grades 4-6, and another for Grades 7-10. With hearts open and spirits alive, students participated in praise and listened intently to messages of hope and faith.

Reverent Orpha A. Gabrillo inspired the elementary students with a message about God’s constant presence in their young lives, while Reverent Marisha May G. Clemente encouraged high schoolers to live with purpose and Christ-like compassion. The Chapel Service marked a spiritually refreshing moment for the Wesleyan community, reminding everyone of God’s faithful presence as they journey through another year of learning and growth.
