HOW ABOUT YOU?
In a time of war, every soldier must be alert, ready for combat, and prepared for defense. Even a single millimeter of opportunity given to the enemy can bring ruin and destruction to the entire camp. A good soldier does not simply sit, observe, and list all the mistakes of the troops.
Yes, as part of the body, it may be lawful for you to point out weaknesses you may tell the arm that it is not effective, or the feet that they are too slow. But before anything else, HOW ABOUT YOU? Are you helping the hand become more effective? Are you helping the feet move faster?
It may be lawful to say whatever you want, but not everything is edifying. Instead of asking, “What is wrong with them?”, we must learn to ask, “How about me?”
Every day, in every situation, let this question search our hearts: HOW ABOUT ME?

"Faith is the root, and assurance is the flower. Doubts, fears, and anxieties will always grow in the heart unless we keep the roots of our faith healthy and well-watered with the Word of God." – J.C. Ryle
This powerful quote from J.C. Ryle’s book Holiness: Its Nature, Hindrances, Difficulties, and Roots reminds us of the essential connection between faith and assurance. Ryle encourages us to nurture our faith through engagement with God’s Word, which helps to overcome doubts and anxieties. Let’s keep our faith strong and well-nourished, trusting in God's promises for our lives.

"A pastor who is unwilling to suffer for his flock is not fit to be their shepherd. He must be ready to endure hardships alongside them, to bear their burdens, and to be an example of Christ's love and sacrifice."
— Paraphrase of Richard Baxter, The Reformed Pastor

INTEGRITY
"Do right, though the stars in heaven should fall; do right, though the world should rock and tremble; do right, though the sky should be covered with sackcloth of gloom; do right, when it costs you suffering, when it costs you loss; do right."
Charles Spurgeon
"The Secret of Holiness" (Sermon #2205), preached on June 21, 1885.

John Owen reminds us to prioritize personal holiness over public appearances. In a world where social media can overshadow private introspection, let's remember: true spiritual growth begins in our quiet moments with God, not in the approval of others. 📖

"The great Shepherd of the sheep, the Lord Jesus Christ, has undertaken the care of His flock, and He is faithful to bring them into green pastures and beside still waters. In the midst of dangers and wolves, He guards them with His life, calling them by name and leading them to eternal rest." – John Owen
