Looking back at how the siblings started their racing journey, Akhina and Andretti began their karting season in 2021 with Richard Peek as their tuner and coach.

We will always remember Richard as one of the first people who noticed Akhina during her very first race back in 2020.

He once mentioned, “When I first saw Akhina, I knew she could drive. From the many drivers I’ve seen in Europe, I could already tell she had the potential. Even on her first time driving a kart, she already wanted to learn so many things.”

During that time, the siblings earned their first perpetual trophies. Akhina achieved an incredible milestone in 2021 as the Cadet Rookie Karter of the Year. Meanwhile, her brother Andretti earned his first perpetual trophy in 2022 at the very young age of 8 as the 2022 Cadet Karter of the Year.

With limited resources and minimal practice time during those early years, Richard truly maximized every details to focus on developing their skills &match the proper set up they need every race, even with limited equipment and seat time.

Thank you once again, Richard Peek for taking care of the siblings for two consecutive years and for always believing in them. Your guidance will always be part of their racing journey.

Formula E Racing Management

Every racer’s victory is also a victory for their coaches, past and present. We were once under the guidance of Coach Elson Carpio of Formula E Racing Management / Resultado back in 2023, and that experience will always be part of our journey.

Coaches play a vital role in every driver’s development, shaping not just skills on the track but also character off it.

Coach Elson, mostly known him as Papa Els, was the first coach who introduced a data-driven approach in developing the drivers here in our country. His expertise in using data to analyze and improve performance is truly exceptional. He is one of the many coaches the siblings had who believed in their potential even before they officially became part of his team.

Thank you, Papa Els, for always believing in Akhina and Andretti. Your support and guidance will always be part of their story. 🏁

Another coach from Resultado Racing who played an important role in the many wins of Akhina and Andretti is Coach Bern. He was assigned to take care of the Mini drivers, yet he also looked after our Speed Angel for two consecutive years.

We remember how excited and passionate he was when he became part of our team and especially when he became the direct coach of Andretti. It reminded him of his own karting days, when he had the same passion, grit, and joy in showcasing his talent on the track.
Seeing Akhina as a female racer, he was inspired to help develop a strong and competitive female driver in karting, one who is always competitive and fueled with passion.

Thank you, Coach Bern, for sharing your expertise with Akhina and Andretti, and for always believing in them. Your support and guidance means a lot!
