“DOMENG” EXITED THE PHILIPPINE AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY
• Location of Center (4:00 PM)
The center of the eye of Typhoon DOMENG was estimated based on all available data at 795 km Northeast of Itbayat, Batanes (OUTSIDE PAR)
• Intensity
Maximum sustained winds of 120 km/h near the center, gustiness of up to 150 km/h, and central pressure of 975 hPa
• Present Movement
Northward at 15 km/h
• Extent of Tropical Cyclone Winds
Strong to typhoon-force winds extend outwards up to 500 km from the center

➣ No Wind Signal is currently hoisted
TRACK AND INTENSITY OUTLOOK
• It must be emphasized that heavy rainfall and severe winds may still be experienced in localities outside the forecast confidence cone. Refer to “Other Hazards affecting Land Areas” for more details. Furthermore, the track may still shift within the limit of the forecast confidence cone.
• DOMENG will continue to move north northeastward towards southern Japan.
• A steady weakening trend is expected for DOMENG as it moves towards an increasingly less favorable environmental condition.
Considering these developments, the public and disaster risk reduction and management offices concerned are advised to take all necessary measures to protect life and property. Persons living in areas identified to be highly or very highly susceptible to these hazards are advised to follow evacuation and other instructions from local officials. For heavy rainfall warnings, thunderstorm/rainfall advisories, and other severe weather information specific to your area, please monitor products issued by your local PAGASA Regional Services Division.

Southwest Monsoon affecting Central Luzon, Southern Luzon, and the western section of Visayas. TROPICAL CYCLONE OUTSIDE PAR AS OF 3:00 PM TODAY TYPHOON JANGMI (2606) LOCATION: 780 KM NORTHEAST OF ITBAYAT, BATANES (25.5°N, 127.5°E) MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS: 120 KM/H NEAR THE CENTER GUSTINESS: UP TO 150 KM/H MOVEMENT: NORTHWARD AT 15 KM/H.
The rest of the Cordillera Administrative Region will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms caused by Localized Thunderstorms. Possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
Light to moderate winds blowing from South to Southwest will prevail over the region.
The sun will set at 6:22PM.

At 3:00 AM today, the center of the eye of Typhoon "DOMENG" {JANGMI} was estimated based on all available data at 650 km East Northeast of Itbayat, Batanes (23.7°N 127.3°E) with maximum sustained winds of 130 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 160 km/h. It is moving North Northwestward at 15 km/h. Southwest Monsoon affecting Central Luzon, Southern Luzon, and the western section of Visayas.
The rest of the Cordillera Administrative Region will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms caused by localized thunderstorms. Possible flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms.
Light to Moderate winds blowing from Southwest will prevail over the region.
The sun will rise at 5:26 AM.

Moderate to occasionally Heavy rainshowers with lightning and strong windsare being experienced in (Natonin, Barlig), (Kabugao), (Banaue, Aguinaldo, Mayoyao, Hingyon), (Sablan, Kapangan), (Burgos, Naguilian, Caba and Aringay) which may persist within 30 mins to 1 hour and may affect nearby areas.
The above conditions are expected over (Tanudan, Tinglayan), the rest of , (Conner, Pudtol), the rest of , (SanNicolas, Tayug, SantaMaria, SanManuel, Natividad, SanQuintin, Umingan, Sison, SanFabian, Pozorrubio, Sual, Bani, Bolinao, Labrador, Anda, Asingan, Binalonan, DagupanCity, Binmaley, Lingayen, Mangaldan, CityOfAlaminos, Mabini, Agno, SanJacinto, Calasiao), (Sugpon, Cervantes), (Bakun, Mankayan, Buguias, Kibungan, , Tublay, LaTrinidad, BaguioCity, Tuba), (Santol, SanGabriel, Bagulin, Bacnotan, SanJuan, CityOfSanFernando, Bauang, Pugo, Tubao, SantoTomas, Rosario, Agoo), (Rizal) and (Tineg) within the next 1 to 2 hours.
All are advised to take precautionary measures against the impacts associated with these hazards. Residents along mountain slope are advised for possible landslides mudslides, rockslides and flash flood.

The center of the eye of Typhoon DOMENG was estimated based on all available data at 650 km East Northeast of Itbayat, Batanes (22.3°N, 127.9°E).
• Intensity
Maximum sustained winds of 130 km/h near the center, gustiness of up to 160 km/h, and central pressure of 965 hPa
• Present Movement
North northwestward at 15 km/h
• Extent of Tropical Cyclone Winds
Strong to typhoon-force winds extend outwards up to
500 km from the center

Refer to Weather Advisory No. 7 issued at 5:00 PM today for the heavy rainfall outlook due to the enhanced Southwest Monsoon.
➣ Severe Winds
The enhancement of the Southwest Monsoon and the periphery of DOMENG will bring strong to gale-force gusts over the following areas (especially in coastal and upland areas exposed to winds):
• Today: Most of Visayas, Batanes, Cagayan, CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, Bicol Region, Zamboanga del Norte, Misamis Occidental, Misamis Oriental, Camiguin, Agusan del Norte, Dinagat Islands, Surigao del Norte, Sarangani, Davao Occidental, and Davao Oriental.
• Tomorrow (01 June): Batanes, Babuyan Islands, Metro Manila, CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, Bicol Region, Panay Island, and Negros Occidental.
• Tuesday (02 June): Batanes, Babuyan Islands, Central Luzon, Metro Manila, CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, Bicol Region, and Panay Island.
TRACK AND INTENSITY OUTLOOK
• It must be emphasized that heavy rainfall and severe winds may still be experienced in localities outside the forecast confidence cone. Refer to “Other Hazards affecting Land Areas” for more details. Furthermore, the track may still shift within the limit of the forecast confidence cone.
• Typhoon DOMENG will continue moving north northwestward today before recurving towards southern Japan for the remaining forecast period. This tropical cyclone is less likely to make landfall over the country. DOMENG will likely exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) tomorrow morning or afternoon.
• DOMENG will continue to intensify until it reaches its peak intensity tomorrow (01 June) while remaining over the Philippine Sea. Afterwards, it will steadily weaken but will remain as a typhoon throughout the forecast period.
