Local or foreign tourists who are still planning to visit the municipality of Atok, Benguet are advised to reschedule their plans until appropriate advisories from the national or local government are issued; and regularly monitor weather updates from DOST-PAGASA.

Tourism Businesses/ Enterprises such as transient houses, and tourist spots, that already accommodated tourists, local or foreign, during the issuance of this order shall provide appropriate means to ensure the safety of their guests, report, monitor, and coordinate the inventory and proper management of the guest with the Municipal Tourism Officer and or Barangay DRRMC; and regularly monitor weather updates from DOST-PAGASA.

Prioritize the security and safety of your employees/ workers, and tour guides and remain vigilant of the possible effects of and its associated hazards such as rain-induced landslide and flooding.

The Executive Order No. 53-2024, re: “Suspension of Tourism Activities in the Municipality of Atok from October 29, 2024 onwards until Further Notice” is 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐛𝐲 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐞𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐨𝐧 𝐍𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟐, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐮 𝐄𝐱𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐎𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐍𝐨. 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒-𝟓𝟖
