My idea revolves around fact checking of misinformation especially the one produced by AI!

“AI is making it easier than ever to create fake videos, images, and news that look real. These “deepfakes” spread quickly on social media and can harm trust, democracy, and vulnerable users who may not know how to check what is true. Since young people are the biggest users of digital platforms, we also have the power to be the solution.

I propose youth-led media literacy campaigns in schools and universities, teaching practical skills to spot AI-generated content. We can also build a youth fact-checking network where Korean and international students work together to verify viral content across languages. By raising awareness, adding transparency labels, and encouraging responsible use of social media, we can protect free speech while reducing the negative effects of misinformation.”
