Malacañang has declared November 16, 17, and 18, which fall on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, respectively, as special non-working days in Metro Manila for the upcoming 49th ASEAN Summit.

Under Proclamation No. 1447, signed by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., the three special non-working days will be observed to alleviate traffic and allow the Philippines, as host country, to secure the safety of summit participants.
