Bacoor Police Nab Provincial Most Wanted in Simultaneous Warrant Ops; Firearm, Ammos, and Gr***de Seized

Casmp BGen Pantaleon Garcia, City of Imus, Cavite- As part of the intensified campaign on the implementation of Search Warrants and Warrant of Arrests, a Provincial Level Wanted Person was arrested by the personnel of Bacoor Component City Police Station on April 5, 2026 in Bacoor City, Cavite.

PLTCOL ALEXIE A DESAMITO, Chief of Police of Bacoor Component City Police Station, identified the accused as alias R.A., 26 years old, and presently residing in Bacoor City, Cavite.

The arrest was made by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest for Violation of Section 32 of RA 10591 issued by the Presiding Judge of RTC Branch 118, Bacoor City, dated December 22, 2025. Simultaneously, Search Warrant No. 2026-05 was issued on March 27, 2026 by the issuing Judge of Bacoor City Regional Trial Court Branch 110 was implemented.

The said operation resulted in the confiscation of one caliber .38 revolver without serial number loaded with three live ammunitions, one hand gr***de, and one piece of 12-gauge live ammunition.

The suspect was properly informed of his constitutional rights in a language known to him and is now under the custody of the Bacoor Component City Police Station. The recovered evidence will be submitted to the Cavite Provincial Forensic Unit for proper examination, while necessary documents are being prepared for the filing of appropriate charges before the City Prosecutor’s Office through inquest proceedings.

PCOL ARIEL R RED, Provincial Director, commended the operating personnel for the successful conduct of the operation. He emphasized that the arrest highlights the intensified campaign against wanted persons and illegal fi****ms. He also reiterated the commitment of the police force to ensure public safety, especially during the observance of Holy Week, and encouraged the public to remain vigilant and cooperative with authorities in maintaining peace and order.
