"Do more than just skimming through life. Take the time to take an interest."
Take an interest
Do more than just skimming through life. Take the time to take an interest.
Discover what genuinely interests you. Do the work to focus on it, to think it through on many levels.
Learn all you can about it. Deepen your understanding by teaching and explaining it to others.
Don't settle for a mere passing interest. Develop a passionate interest, perhaps several of them.
In every direction you have your pick. You'll always be able to uncover something to ignite your interest.
All kinds of people, places, events, and subjects are as interesting as you choose to make them. Take an interest, invest your interest, and life continues to fascinate.

"Improvement can be a slow process that takes a long time. Yet at any point you must ask yourself whether you prefer slow improvement or quick decline."
Slow improvement or quick decline
Improvement can be a slow process that takes a long time. Yet at any point you must ask yourself whether you prefer slow improvement or quick decline.
Almost always, that is the choice. If you're not moving slowly and steadily in a good direction you're likely to recklessly move fast in a negative one.
Sure, if you can make quick progress that's great. Yet even slow progress is preferable to sliding backwards.
That's especially true because any kind of decline has a way of quickly gaining momentum. So if you're not moving forward, you're likely to soon be rapidly losing ground.
Even when the positive option won't bring immediate positive results, go with it anyway. It certainly beats the alternative.
Just about every decision represents a choice between slowly improving or quickly declining. Remind yourself to look at it that way, and you're much more likely to make the best choice.

"Decide to get it done. Follow through on your decision."
Getting things done
Decide to get it done. Follow through on your decision.
Choose to accomplish a specific objective. Proceed with focused action and keep it up until you've reached the goal.
You are a miraculous achievement machine. Don't allow such a magnificent machine to become rusty from lack of use.
Getting things done is in your nature. Never pass up a good opportunity to be true to that nature.
Make something valuable and it will make you feel great. That's a whole lot better than sitting around wondering what to do.
You already know what to do and it is to get good work done. The place is here, the time is now, and you're sure to thank yourself for taking on the challenge.

"Calling all network marketers tired of the grind! What if you could replace a massive, unmanageable downline with a simple, focused team of just 3 people?
That's the core of a new model I'm exploring. It's called 'Me+3,' and it eliminates inventory requirements and forced autoship. The focus is purely on building a small, powerful team around a clinically-backed wellness product.
The comp plan is one of the clearest I've ever seen.
If you're skeptical (as you should be!) and want to see the blueprint for yourself, the full business breakdown is in my bio. Prefer a DM? Send me 'MODEL' and I'll shoot you the link."

"Being briefly motivated is not all that difficult or unusual. An obstacle presents itself, or an opportunity arises, and you naturally become motivated to respond in a particular way."
Embed purpose
Being briefly motivated is not all that difficult or unusual. An obstacle presents itself, or an opportunity arises, and you naturally become motivated to respond in a particular way.
The challenge, and the power, is in staying motivated. Motivation in the moment gets you going, yet it's motivation in the long term that brings real rewards.
To lock in that motivation, to make sure it endures, you must quickly and repeatedly connect it to purpose. So when something prompts you to respond, make it a point to understand why.
What is it about the specific challenge or possibility that is getting you so worked up? Understand why it matters and you'll have a meaningful touchpoint that you can continue referring to.
When you're clear at the deepest level about where your motivation comes from, you'll have plenty of ways to prolong it. That can transform a momentary intention into an enduring and sustaining one.
To put motivation to work for you, give it a full time, permanent job. Make the motivation deeply personal by embedding your purpose in it, and you'll continue it long enough to make a major positive difference.

"There is a way to achieve your intended outcome. Your job is to find it and then work your way through, step by step."
Make this happen
There is a way to achieve your intended outcome. Your job is to find it and then work your way through, step by step.
If the problem is complicated and difficult, the path to solve it will be just as difficult. If the goal is ambitious, the effort necessary to achieve it will be significant.
Yet in all likelihood you can do it. That means being realistic about the actions you must take, and committing yourself, and persisting.
You have the capability. What you must also provide are the willingness and the effort.
When you do, the result is not merely your desired outcome, as valuable as that can be. The result is also increased confidence and enthusiasm for getting things done.
Make it happen, and you won't just make it happen. You'll more completely transform yourself into the person who reliably brings new value to life.

"Is it naive to be hopeful? Probably, but that's not the issue."
In hope's direction
Is it naive to be hopeful? Probably, but that's not the issue.
As a response to what's going on at any particular moment, hope is often unrealistic. Yet it can be a powerful intention and driving force for moving forward.
Hope gives you a point at which to aim. And when you're clear about the direction and destination, you're much more likely to work yourself there.
Whether it's realistic or not in the present, hope focuses you on the future. What is realistic is that the present situation will change, and hope defines a specific ideal for the change.
Hope is powerful because you have the ability to change things for the better. Hope attains its power when it is embodied in you.
Pay attention to your hope and then ask yourself, what can you do right now to push the world in hope's direction? Hope won't take you there, but it will absolutely lead you where you hope to go.

Find pursuits you love and do them, not for money, not for fame, but for the sheer joy of it. Appreciate the people you love, and be with them, not to gain advantage, not to solve your problems, but to share the experiences of living."
Go your own way
Find pursuits you love and do them, not for money, not for fame, but for the sheer joy of it. Appreciate the people you love, and be with them, not to gain advantage, not to solve your problems, but to share the experiences of living.
Take a small corner of the world and make it beautiful. Whether anyone else ever sees it or not, that beauty and your part in creating it will resonate positively all through your life.
When there's a particular task you must do, take pride and delight in doing it well. Rather than resenting its necessity, celebrate the opportunity it gives you to make a difference.
Much of what is held out as desirable to possess, or experience, or know, comes from the fears, insecurities, and narcissism of others. Step boldly beyond all that, decide for yourself what makes life good, and put it into practice.
Earn your keep, be responsible, involved, thoughtful, and helpful to others. But don't feel like you have to fit into anyone else's idea of what's enjoyable, desirable, or fulfilling.
The endless possibilities of existence surround the miraculous uniqueness of you. Go your own way, do your own thing, and make the very most of the grand opportunity that is your life.
