We are a Catholic Community in Bacolod City, Philippines. We believe that the steadfast love that we feel from the Lord should be shared to everyone.
Hesed is a Hebrew word that is usually translated as "loving kindness", "mercy", "steadfast love" and sometimes "loyalty". This is how God's love is usually described, the kind of love that will never let you go. God keeps on loving us even though we continue to fall. We, from the Hesed (Intentional Discipleship Community), believe that everyone is called to love. The overwhelming love that we fee
l from the Lord should be shared with other people, especially those who don't know him yet. We aim to live a "drop the net" attitude as shown by the first apostles: Peter, Andrew, James and John. When they met Jesus and heard his invitation to come and follow Him, they dropped the net and left behind whatever they were doing at that moment in order to be with Jesus. He made them "fishers of men". The Hesed (Intentional Discipleship Community) invites you to experience a moment of being together, experiencing joy and living a full and meaningful life in Jesus. Join us in building a community with others. Let's allow Him to make us "fishers of men" in today's generation.
