The 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐄𝐱𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬 - 𝐔𝐍𝐎-𝐑 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫, in collaboration with 𝐒𝐘𝐌𝐀, 𝐉𝐏𝐈𝐀, 𝐇𝐀𝐓𝐒, 𝐉𝐏𝐌𝐀, and 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐫, successfully conducted the outreach event with the theme “𝙃𝙤𝙣𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙊𝙪𝙧 𝙀𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮𝙙𝙖𝙮 𝙃𝙚𝙧𝙤𝙚𝙨: 𝘼 𝙁𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙡 𝙎𝙚𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙧 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙂𝙞𝙛𝙩-𝙂𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙄𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚” for the hardworking staff of RKJ General Services & Sales Inc. assigned at the University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos, Inc.

With the inspiring insights shared by our guest speaker, 𝐌𝐬. 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐧 𝐌. 𝐓𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐟𝐢𝐞𝐥, 𝐂𝐏𝐀, 𝐌𝐁𝐀, the seminar became a meaningful opportunity to promote financial awareness, empowerment, and appreciation for the individuals whose dedication and service often go unnoticed.

𝐋𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐞-𝐭𝐨-𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬:
In light of the global oil crisis and its economic impact on students and staff, the University will implement a limited face-to-face modality starting April 20 to May 31, 2026. At the college level, Friday and Saturday classes will transition to an online modality, with the following specific arrangements:

• 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲: Classes will be conducted online every Wednesday and Saturday.

• 𝐒𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬: Programs such as the College of Education and College of Criminal Justice Education will continue face-to-face as scheduled.

𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝 𝐁𝐞𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐁𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬: 𝐀 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐭𝐡. The 𝐉𝐅𝐈𝐍𝐄𝐗 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, held on 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝟏𝟒, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 at 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐮𝐠 𝐋𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐑𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐡, 𝐁𝐫𝐠𝐲. 𝐀𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐧, became a meaningful activity that strengthened camaraderie and built stronger connections among Financialistas. The theme reflects the importance of going beyond personal limits, working together, and growing as one organization. Through the activities prepared for the day, members were able to cooperate, interact, and build new friendships, showing the value of unity and teamwork. The event also achieved its goal of giving participants an enjoyable and worthwhile experience while helping them feel more connected with one another.

“At first, I didn’t plan on going because of the location, but I decided to attend for the experience and to enjoy a well-deserved academic break,” said Michael Libo-on, a 1st Year Financialista. He shared that his experience during the 2026 team building was both fun and memorable. He was able to interact with others, meet new faces, learn from different activities, and take a moment to relax from the exhausting demands of academics.

He also realized that even if someone feels shy or scared to try something new, it is still worth doing, sometimes it’s best to just simply go with the flow and enjoy the moment. Michael expressed his gratitude to the JFINEX Officers for organizing an event where everyone could unwind and take a break from their studies.

He also gave a special mention to his team, “Otso Otso,” for trusting him to be their team leader. Even though they didn’t know each other very well at first, they were able to bond, enjoy the activities together, and celebrate their wins as a team.

JFINEX extends its gratitude to all participants for their active involvement and enthusiasm throughout the program. The organization also thanks 𝐆𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐫, 𝐌𝐬. A devastating fire recently struck Brgy. 39, leaving many families including our fellow Unorians with their homes and belongings burned. Many are now in urgent need of support, having lost clothes, school uniforms, school supplies, and other basic necessities.

In response, The Business Primer is calling for your help.
Together, we can provide basic essential items and extend our support to our fellow Unorians and the residents of Brgy. 39 as they are still recovering from the recent tradegy.

Any contribution, big or small, will go directly to the families to help them replace what was lost and meet their immediate needs.

We are accepting the the following donations

In kind donations:
- Clothes (preferably clean and wearable and if you have extra uno-r uniforms to give for our fellow unorians )
- Relief goods (rice, canned goods, instant noodles, etc.)
- School supplies (notebooks, pens, bags, etc.)
- First aid kits / Medicine
- Hygiene kits (soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, sanitary items)
- Blankets, mats, towels
- Other basic necessities
