𝗩𝗢𝗟𝗧𝗥𝗢𝗡𝗡: 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘔𝘦𝘵𝘢𝘭 𝘉𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘈𝘯𝘨𝘰𝘯𝘰, 𝘙𝘪𝘻𝘢𝘭

Voltronn is a metal band hailing from Angono, Rizal, established in 2006. The current lineup features Arvi Vitor on vocals, AV Reyes and Tedy Reyes on guitars, Bot Maybituin on bass, and Melvin Fuentes on drums.

Musical Journey and Influences:

Voltronn’s love for metal began at an early age. During their elementary years, the members were drawn to the heavy sounds of Slipknot and Korn, whose music sparked their passion for the genre. By high school, that passion evolved into action as they began forming their own band. Local influences such as Cheese (Queso), Kamikazee, Houndz, and Slapshock further fueled their drive to create music.

As they grew musically, exposure to other local acts like Valley of Chrome, Typecast, and Saydie motivated them to continue pursuing the metal scene. Later, as their musical horizons broadened, they drew inspiration from international bands such as Shadows Fall, Lamb of God, Killswitch Engage, As I Lay Dying, and In Flames, as well as All That Remains.

They also credit their friends from Loyd Cavaliers for influencing their sound and for encouraging them to explore various musical styles. Today, Voltronn embraces a diverse range of influences, blending them into their distinct metal sound.

The Origin of the Name

Voltronn’s story began in 2006 as a cover band during their early high school years. Even before officially naming themselves, they performed at a birthday celebration for their drummer’s brother. After an impromptu jam session, one of the guests gathered the group, asked them to form a circle, and instructed them to extend their hands into the center. He then blessed them with the name “VOLTRONN”—a symbol of unity, strength, and power. Since that day, they have proudly carried the name.

Each member of Voltronn brings their own unique style, perspective, and musical influence, forming a dynamic collective that reflects their shared ideals and aspirations. The band believes in mutual respect, collaboration, and perseverance—values that keep them grounded and inspired.
