We had snowmobiled in and were just stoking the fire when I snapped these cabin details from a very special shoot in the backcountry. These beautiful moose sheds were found together, not far from the front door of this incredible hand-built family cabin.

There’s nothing better than getting to photograph people in their favorite places, celebrating the extraordinary elements of their ordinary lives.

MOMENTS: the kind that are the most precious and fleeting. The gift of trust from the new mothers and their newborns who allow us to photograph them is sacred to us.
“As a mother myself, I know how fragile and out of body those first few weeks feel. And yet they’re the ones that I wish so much someone had captured of me, in a loving way. For so many mothers it seems this time is mostly documented with adorable photos of our babies, and with us in our stained pjs, messy hair and healing bodies. Which is why I absolutely love photographing mothers during this incredible time. We laugh, we cry, we celebrate her; the mother. She doesn’t come second in our sessions. Her love, her beauty, her strength, her journey is something I try to capture through my art during these sessions. If you need some loving hands to rock your babe so you can take a long shower and get ready, I’m here for that too. It’s all part of the process, part of the art we make together during these sessions. These motherhood moments are such a joy and an honour to photograph and I’m so thankful to get to share in these incredible moments with such incredible women and their new little ones.” - MCO
Is there a mom in your life who you think should be shown how much she shines in her motherhood?

We had a blast working with our friends on their custom rebrand + web design.
We caught up with the Brons brothers (owner Joe, and his brother Ben) on one of their incredible custom home builds sites in the Kootenays, where we shot Creative Content for their website, and produced a large bank of images for their social media platforms.
We love getting to photograph our clients in their work environments and capturing their passion for what they do. These guys were so at home on the build site it was incredible to watch them working so efficiently while laughing and enjoying working together.
This project was a big one! So we will be sharing aspects of this project in stages so stay tuned for more about our custom brand build for this incredible custom home builder!
