خطوة استراتيجية جديدة تخطوها السلطنة بقيادة وزارة الطاقة والمعادن وممثلة بمركز عُمان للحياد الصفري، عبر إطلاق الإطار التنظيمي لأسواق الكربون.
لا تقتصر هذه الخطوة على خفض الانبعاثات فحسب، بل تفتح آفاقاً استثمارية واعدة، وتستقطب الاستثمارات الدولية نحو قطاعات اقتصادية محورية، لترسيخ مكانة عُمان كشريك موثوق وفاعل في منظومة أسواق الكربون العالمية وصولاً للحياد الصفري 2050.

Oman’s clean energy ambitions continue to gain momentum with O-Green announcing plans to develop a 58 MW wind power pilot project in Duqm. The initiative forms part of the company’s wider strategy to expand renewable energy capacity, localise wind energy technologies and support Oman’s transition towards a more sustainable energy mix. The project is expected to supply clean electricity to industrial users while reinforcing Duqm’s growing role as a hub for renewable energy and green industry development.
