Term 1 -EXEAT WEEKEND
Easter weekend. Boarders will need to leave by 5pm on Thursday 1st April, and return Tursday 6th from 4pm.
We do require rooms to be completely empty as we have a function that weekend, however we are getting locks put on cupboards so they can store stuff in the room and we will make a room available to store larger stuff.
It will be school holidays a week and a half later, so it would be a good idea to take some stuff home if possible.
The pool is finally open, and even though the sun is going down, cant keep them from wanting to swim.
Alert Level 2 At Alert Level 2 the disease is contained, but there is a risk of community transmission.
Happy valentine's day to all. Our girls look lovely.
Safe travels to all our hostel families today.
If you are traveling from the south, you might need to check road conditions, there has been an incident that may delay your arrival.

Fire alarm at 5am??? OrbPrank day antics???
Nice breakfast tho
And so tonight after a wonderful meal spent with the girls and staff, I settle the junior dorm with their last story time, then it’s my last round of trying to put the girls to bed on time, but this time I can’t growl cause each girl is waiting to say goodbye and crush me with hugs I will never forget.
Then to the empty dining room to sit and quietly reflect on the past 3n1/2 yrs of my time here at Adastra hostel, the staff, the families and the girls, so many have come and gone each leaving thier own special memory.
To the girls,
May life bring you all you could wish for,
may it be filled with love and laughter,
Go out there follow your dreams, set goals and achieve them,
but most of all be true to yourself and love yourself for who you are
Such an amazing night, celebrating xmas and saying goodbye, to Mandy and our year 13 ladies.
This yrs hostel Xmas tree by night
The yr9 girls had been asking for real story time where I actually read them the story myself. So tonight after telling the girls this afternoon that I was making some changes in my life and that I was leaving hostel to start a new chapter, I thought it would be nice for them to have Mandy story time, little did I know that I would end up reading it to the yr10 and the yr11 groups aswell and then there was Taina who read the stories for herself laughing from start to finish
