Still looking for the right person to join our team.

Busy day on the Mangapurua Track today with 40 bikers. Some staying with us up the river tonight at Bridge to Nowhere Lodge. The others we jet boated to Pipiriki.
Today was awesome!! We love to challenge ourselves, and this morning definitely did that!! As well as our canoeists; we had 40 Mountain bikers, some arriving at our Holiday Park, some we picked up from Horopito, and some we picked up from National Park. The majority rode the Mangapurua Track to the Bridge to Nowhere. One group of Super Humans rode Fishers Track, we transported them to Whakahoro, they rode the Kaiwhakauka, then down the Mangapurua to the Bridge to Nowhere Jet Boat. Once all the rider's are gone I think I will follow their lead and have a cold beer!!

Great to have the Mangapurua Track open and the bikers starting to come through. Been a busy few days.😀
Our first group of riders back from the Bridge to Nowhere Cycle Trail today (pic taken after they cleaned their bikes ;) ) Thanks for riding with us today - and the feedback of the track is that it was an awesome ride, and DOC have done a really good job ;)
Raetihi Holiday Park
Fantastic news from DOC!!!! After a tough Winter, with a large slip part way through the Mangapurua/Bridge to Nowhere cycle trail, after a lot of hard work the trail will be open again this weekend. DOC has asked that we share this safety information to anyone planning to do the trip, and that riders keep in mind it will be quite muddy from the diggers that have been in there.
- New section of track will be muddy and slippery
- Instructions must be followed to walk bikes through designated areas with their bike between them and the fall hazard.
- Please encourage cyclists to err on the side of caution and ride within their ability
- The warm and dry weather also impacts the bluff sections and could see fritter or debris come down.
- Do not linger along the bluff sections
We offer Mountain Bike Hire, Accommodation, and shuttles to and from the Bridge to Nowhere Track, and can help you organize your jet boat trip too.
Labour weekend on the Whanganui River. Enjoy a slice of New Zealand paradise

Whanganui River Canoes
Today is Wednesday - so we are going to share some Photos from Waaayyy back!! Over the next few weeks we will share some photos from our own past, telling how we came to be canoe operators - and even from some of our grandparents - who have some awesome stories of their own ❤️❤️
This Wednesday, we are also celebrating the birthday of Joe Adam; Ben's dad - and one of the main reasons we are working on the Whanganui River.
Joe owns the Bridge to Nowhere Lodge and Tours - one of the most amazing spots in New Zealand! (you need to stay there while canoeing with us)! Ben has been helping Joe out driving jet boats and working by his side on and off since he was 15 year's old.
Sometimes, while sitting at the breakfast table with Ben and Joe I feel like I am going a little mad. . . They can sit there silently and seem to have an entire conversation at the same time - they both stand up at exactly the same time with exactly the same plan in mind without having spoken a word :o
Joe has helped Ben and I grow as operators over the years, always ready to give us advice - or a bit of a laugh. He has battled through so many obstacles over the years, but doesn't give up - definitely someone for us all to look up to with everything happening in the world at the moment.
Very Happy Birthday to you Joe - Ps. these photo's aren't from that waaaaayyyyy back - so if anyone has any older pic's of Joe feel free to add some,
I'm sure he would appreciate it 😉🤣❤️
For I am the river, and the river is me...

Great mixed group of mountain bikers and others who came on the jet boat and did the Bridge to Nowhere tour. Beautiful weather for them to do the canoeing today. Lots of laughs and fun times!
