Whanganui Messages of Hope page is intended to spread messages of love, support and hope from the community of Whanganui to anyone who needs it!

Hey team!
We've come to the end of our first Whanganui Messages for Hope event!
We've seen some pretty awesome pictures of the messages you've put around the community and love it!
On Wednesday 13th October we will announce the winner of the voucher!
Until then, please keep putting pictures up of your messages if you haven't yet, and don't forget to extend your messages of hope to the people that you come into contact with also. You never know what's going on behind their social mask, even the strongest people need to know there is someone there when they need to take!
Sorry that we haven't been very active this week - don't forget to get your pictures up for your chance to win the $50 Pak N Save Voucher !
Winner of the voucher will be announced on Wednesday October 13th

A different kind of way to spread messages of hope π₯³

We got some sneaky evening chalks in tonight. Couldn't get a picture of most of them because it got to dark but can't wait to get back out again tomorrow to do some more π

Had fun chalking up Ingestre and Wickstead today.
Can't wait to see everyone else's messages π
Were planning on going out again this evening to do some too π

I'm heading out around central Whanganui from now until around 1:30pm to do some chalking.
I'll have some of our chalk packs with us, if you see the blue haired girl chalking, come say hi and grab a chalk pack!
Don't forget that to WIN the $50 voucher you need to put pictures up of your messages! β€οΈ

Has anyone else seen any messages around?
Feel free to post or tag pictures of messages you find around the city β€οΈ we would love to see them!
Found this message written on the footpath when I came into work this morning.

Day three is over, it's going quite fast!
Articles in the paper today - who saw them?
Here's a couple of our messages today, can't wait to see yours β€οΈ
We've still got chalk packs available if you need them, just message us and we will get them to you π

We only a managed a couple today, but have made up chalk packs to go out and spread some posters around π₯³
Can't wait to see some of your messages, don't be discouraged by the rain. It only means you get another chance to do it again π

And just like that, we are at the end of day 1 of the event.
Did anyone else get out there and leave some messages in the community today?
We visited a couple spots and left our mark β€οΈ
Can't wait to see everyone's works of hope! π
To those yet to receive their chalk - it won't be much longer. Sorry about the delay!
Just some inspiration from our team for the upcoming event.

Kia Ora and welcome to Whanganui Messages of Hope, brought to you by Balance Whanganui
Our intention is to spread messages of love, support and hope from the community of Whanganui to anyone and everyone who may need them β€οΈ
To do this we will be holding online events, during which we ask that everyone who wants to get involved write messages of support, hope, love, encouragement or positivity either on a poster put in their window or in chalk on the sidewalk in your community!
Once you've written your message, we encourage you to take a photo of it, post it online and tag us in it. You can do this at any stage, it does not have to be only during one of the events.
Watch out for our events, where you can sign up to get a chalking kit sent to you for FREE! There will be limited numbers available so keep an eye out and get in fast βΊοΈ
