Third Avatar film Art Directing for me. Looking forward to the release!!!

After working on the original Avatar early on in my Art Directing career, going back for 2 & 3 as a more experienced Art Director was such a full circle moment.

Working on The Meg was an incredible experience and a fantastic project for an Art Department.
One of my key Art Directing roles was leading the impressive Screen Graphics team, creating live, in-camera, and interactive motion graphics and outputting them for the countless monitors on set.

As far as I know, The Meg was one of the first films to fully integrate this As much in camera and interactive approach. We designed detailed, multi-layered, touch-enabled GUIs that were networked and coded for real-time interaction.

Collaborating closely with the talented SFX team, we integrated our systems so the cast could actually pilot the subs and gliders on the motion base themselves—adding an unparalleled level of realism to the film!"

Art Directing on the original Avatar alongside such an awesome crew was a special moment in my career. I'm so grateful to have been part of this project.
