Several years ago I discovered the miracle and beauty of childbearing and it was this the lead my to my love of belly casting. I have developed a technique which has become very popular while being solid and very beautiful. Each piece is unique and the cast will be customized to suite your specific preferences. This 3D cast is the biggest challange I've had casting! This is my sons body cast and I am in the process of trying to make armour for the very first time. It is really hard to wrap my mind around making patterns for this. Watch this space! 🤣😅

Casting myself! I've done this craft for 18 years and always wondered what my own cast would look like! Completed in two sections to allow for movement because it's WAY more difficult to cast ones own body! Will post updates as they happen.

Every body is different. Inside and outside. Love how each casting I do morphs into it's own creation of curves, dips and angles.
This is my 17 year old son's cast.
My first Male form.
When I asked him if he was bothered that I asked him to be a model he replied "I knew eventually you would ask me"
It was after his birth that I began my Doula training to support families through the birthing.
Body casting came shortly after.
My lifestyle doesn't allow the freedom to support at this time however I am able to do casting.
It's more intimate than any photo.

The shapes that mother nature gifts us upon our arrival. We don't choose these bodies. We are gifted them. One day we will gift them back. When it's time. Not a moment before. So let's stop and honour these bodies of ours. Let's sit in them fully with grattitude for they are our gift from her. From mother nature and she will take them back.
