Absurd! are four guys from Wellington who came up playing flat parties, jam nights and just straight sending it. Intertwined with some sweet treats and tasty melodies they've got some absurd rock about anything and everything. Having the hots for your teacher, the nature of existence, that dusty message you shouldn't have sent, they'll sing it all when they get the chance.

Introducing our first band of the evening:
Super Pseudo!

Explorative and raw, Super Pseudo take listeners on musical journeys across deserts and down rabbit holes. Dark and moody vocals, along with ethereal harmonies, serve as an eccentric tour guide while the band moves through psychedelic flavours, jazz influenced rhythms, and the sprawling and untidy nature of 60’s folk, in their attempt to find their way through the warren.

After releasing a string of singles throughout the middle of 2022, the band are working towards releasing their debut album.

Coming out of Wellington, Wet Denim are a four-piece alt-rock powerhouse who are serving a fresh sound with their spacey, driven, and catchy tunes. Their sound is a mix of lush guitar chords, syrupy basslines, punching drums, and gorgeous vocals. The boys have been hard at work gearing for their debut single release 'Another Hit' which will be ready for your ears sometime very soon!

Happy Two
"Happy Two", formerly known as OnSweet, are an indie pop rock band with explosive power with crowd-pleasing melodies and relevant song topics. Hailing from all corners of Aotearoa, they decided to make a band together for the sole reason that Phil “accidentally” bowled over Ben, Alfie and Jack coming down the hill on a flamingo scooter, and all had to go to the nurses office getting patched up when they were talking about how conveniently they each played a different band instrument, Ben on drums, Alfie on bass, Jack on guitar, and Phil on vocals, considering fate led them all here, they decided to give this band thing a go.
The 4 members combine to make a melancholic yet bubbly, and powerful yet soft sound.
Having played at Sanfran for Eyegum as their debut gig, the crowd went crazy for their catchy singalongs, tasteful groove, and their dynamic energy.
