Join Keegan Thomas and Aaron James Douglas in detention for a high-octane smorgasbord of live sketch, improv, stand-up and musical chaos β coming this NZ International Comedy Festival.
While Keegan reels from a failed musical audition, Aaron is sweating over a note from a crush. Both the cast list and the note are locked in the desk β placed there by the teacher as punishment. They are desperately procrastinating the truth, stalling for time before they have to face the final verdict.
Itβs a full-throttle homage to the era of the cinematic intensity of Jumper, the romantic agony of Love Actually, and the desperate need for acceptance in a vague Facebook status.
Part nostalgia trip, part identity crisis, and a beautifully dumb celebration of who we used to be.
Every night features a different guest comedian as our teacher trying (and failing) to keep us in our seats.
