STAINING? If your staining high traffic areas it’s always good to use an oil based stain that will pe*****te the wood accordingly! Here we have a deck that was pressure washed to remove the water-based coating, the two decks were then completely sanded, two coats of a traditional oil stain were then applied. The oil soaks into the wood where as the water-based product that was used here created a film on top of the wood with evidentiary failed due to daily use of the decks. The fence was also painted but we forgot the pictures of that one 🙈

Stanmore bay new build.. We painted the interior and exterior of this property including the staining of the Abodo cedar cladding.

No before photos of this property unfortunately, but the owner noticed paint only just starting to fail in some areas and got in quick before it became worse. We also replaced some rotten wood, cleaned the decks and painted the outhouse roof 🙌.

These jobs aren’t always the funnest with the harsh stain blockers and sealers we have to use, and also the amount of silicone required in all of the gaps but the outcome is always amazing! Another wooden ceiling completed on the hibiscus coast 💙🤍🤍

Meet Jake!! Jakey has pretty much been with Tru-line since the beginning. He’s a hard working individual who is currently one course away from completing his painting/decorating apprenticeship. Outside of work Jake spends his time with mates, skateboarding and making music. Holla at him when you see him around 👋🏽🤝💙🤍

Wallpaper strip/repair walls, pigment seal, undercoat and two top coats, we also painted the ceiling and window frames/doors. Don’t stress too much the carpet was replaced 😃😃 💙🤍

Preparation is the most important part of painting. From sanding, sealing and using the correct fillers. Masking also falls into that category and our girl Stevie is one of the best at it. It takes time. But when you have brand new floors/kitchen it’s so important that it’s protected properly.

Before and after, unfortunately the only pictures I got from this job, but a full exterior repaint to being the property back to life!

Stevie is extremely particular in her preparation and prides herself in her finish. In her spare time Stevie loves to skate, socialise and spend time with friends and family.
