Hello to all our dear customers,

To clarify the situation at Caltex Orewa.
We were contacted yesterday by the Ministry of Health (MoH) who informed us that we would be listed as a visited location in the media. The MoH advised us not to panic or close and told us to continue operating the business as usual.
Despite this advice, out of an abundance of caution, we sought additional advice from our fuel supplier, and we began internal and external cleaning on-site and booked a deep cleaning service for today.
This morning we opened at 6am in accordance with MoH advice, however, made the decision at 8am to restrict our service to the night-pay window so customers would not need to enter the store. At 9.10am this morning we made the decision to fully close the site until deep cleaning could be carried out later today.
Caltex Orewa continues to work with government officials and the police to facilitate contact tracing and ensure that our staff and customers are safe.

We hope this clears up any concerns.

Caltex Orewa will still be fully operational during this lockdown period. Please feel free to come in and get your fuel, LPG, food, groceries or any other amenities. We just ask you please follow the given guidelines in place. Thank you.

At both Alert Levels 2 and 3, our site doors will be open for customers to pay in store or you can pay from the comfort of your car with Pay-in-App.

Signage is in place to assist with physical distancing, hand sanitiser is available and sites with food and coffee will keep serving these within tight food and safety guidelines.

Strong cleanliness and hygiene standards will be followed and we ask that you please refrain from coming onto a Caltex site if you are feeling unwell.
