Titirangi Walkers

Hi fellow walkers. For this months away walk, 27th October, we are meeting at the car park (south end, off round about) for the Te Atatu Coastal walkway.

Usual time 8.15 for an 8.30 start. Remember to bring a plate of food to share and cup for your tea/coffee.

Away walk 28th July - Lynfield area. Please message for location details.
8.30am start. Bring food to share as usual. No need to bring cups or hot water.

Our away walk this Sunday 30th june is at Okahu Bay. Meet near the toilets at 8.15 for a 8.30 start.

Bring a plate of food to share, and a cup for your drink.

Away walk, sunday 31st match
Hello fellow walkers.

For this months away walk we will meet at Olympic park car park off Wolverton street at 8.15 for an 8.30 start.

We will walk to Avondale train station then cross Blockhouse Bay road and continue along the pathway and after 45 minutes

will return to Olympic park for our morning tea. Remember to bring a cup and plate with some food on it.

No walk next Sunday 17th March.
A lot of our members are not available to walk next Sunday so it was decided this morning that next Sundays walk is cancelled.

Our next walk at the house will be on Sunday 24th with the away walk on Sunday 31st March. With this in mind can you all put on

your thinking caps and advise me if you have a suggestion for the away walk on the 31st.

Sunday 25th February - This months away walk will be the Whau River Boardwalk meeting at the car park for Olympic Park off Wolverton street.

Looks like the rest of this month will be mostly warm/hot and sunny so hope to see plenty of walkers for this popular walk.

Away walk Sunday 17th December, we are doing the Te Atatu coastal walkway meeting at the car park on the right off Te Atatu Road.

Away walk tomorrow, 26th November- we are meeting at the Arataki Visitor Centre at 300 Scenic drive at 8.15am for an 8.30am start.

Two things.

One. For this months away walk on 29th Oct, we will meet at the Craigavon Park car park off Connaught Street, Green Bay.

Usual time 8.15 for an 8.30 start and don’t forget a plate of food and cup for your tea/coffee please. We will walk around Green Bay.

Two. For the month of December we will only have two walks from the Titirangi community house, 3rd and 31st. Sundays 10th and 17th will be away walks as they are the markets days. There are usually two markets in December and none in January. There is no walk on Christmas eve 24th.

Lets hope our weather will start to improve with some nice sunny dry days.

Change of meeting place for Sunday 1st October - meet at Olympic park and walk the Whau river boardwalk as an away walk.

Away walk Sunday 24th Sept - We are meeting at Craigavon park at the carpark by the childrens playground Cnr Connaught and Portage roads, New Lynn at 8.20am for an 8.30am start. Please bring a cup and plate of food to share for morning tea.

Our away walk on Sunday 27th August, will be at Hobsonville Point.

Meet at car parking at the end of Hudson Bay Road, just before you turn left to the ferry wharf .

As usual, bring a cup and food to share.

Away walk Sunday 30th July.
For this months away walk we are going to walk around Waikumete Cemetery.

Meeting point will be in the cemetery car park off Great North Road at 8.15am for an 8.30am start.

Please bring a plate of food to share. And a cup and thermos.

This months away walk will be at the Auckland Domain.

We will meet at 8.15am at the car park by the toilets about 100 metres from the band rotunda.
