I heard something this week that made me stop in my tracks.

You only get around 12 winter school holidays with each of your kids (if you're lucky).

That hit me.

It made me realise I only have about 4 or 5 winter school holidays left with our eldest before she's off into the world creating her own adventures.

Suddenly, our household chores didn't seem nearly as important.

These holidays, I don't want to spend my days catching up on tasks I could outsource. I want to make hot chocolates, go exploring, build blanket forts, watch movies, sleep in a little, and simply enjoy having everyone home.

Because the jobs will always be there...
..but these school holidays won't.

That's exactly why we started Folded.
