We’ve been building something a little different with Common Compost.

Common Compost is a community-run commercial food-waste collection service led by the hospitality team behind Hayes Common. We developed the website and custom application that connect business registration, approvals, subscriptions, collections and environmental reporting in one place.

Businesses can manage their compost collections and see the impact they are making, including food waste collected, landfill diverted, compost created, carbon offset and cost savings.

Behind the scenes, community managers can manage participating businesses, bins, collection days and capacity, while system administrators and approved organisations can access community and national-level reporting.

A practical digital system designed to reduce administration, improve collection planning and help more hospitality businesses turn food waste into a local resource.

It has been a privilege for Web Paste to help Raglan Naturally Community Trust create a new brand identity and digital space that communicates the important mahi they do in Raglan Whāingaroa. The Trust brought a thoughtful and meaningful approach to the project, and it was a great experience to be involved, learn more about their work, and help share their stories with the wider community.

Go Raglan started as a brand and website project — but over time, it has grown into something much bigger.

We’ve worked with Go Raglan to develop a community-focused digital hub that helps locals, businesses and visitors connect in practical ways.

The platform now includes a local jobs system where employers can post roles, manage applications and connect with job seekers, alongside a short-term accommodation directory where property owners can list and manage their own spaces.

This is the kind of digital work we love: creating tools that are useful, easy to manage and built around real needs.

Project Launch: Green Wave Raglan

A big thank you to Green Wave Raglan for being such a great team to work with on this project.

We loved helping bring together a website and booking system that supports the way their surf school runs day to day — from lesson bookings and packages through to rental equipment, customer accounts, staff tools and surf galleries.

The site was designed to be clean, mobile-friendly and easy to use, while giving the Green Wave team more control behind the scenes.

A special mention to Surf Girl NZ for the beautiful photography throughout the website. The images really bring the Raglan surf experience to life and helped shape the feel of the whole project.
