Friday night in, and homemade healthy and delicious pizza… keto pizza bases. One whole pizza base has only 4.2grams of carbs!! Loaded with a little salami and topped with veges and cheese to top it off… I mean why wouldn’t you, easy to make and so much healthier than store bought pizza. Absolutely delish, don’t take my word for it, have a go yourself, go crazy with your favorite toppings 🍅🧅🫑🧀 .nz

Cooking is a passion of mine, healthy and nutritious does not mean boring and tasteless, far from it. I always have a fridge stocked with my favorite staples and fresh vegetables, and it’s amazing what you can whip up in a short time. This is one of my favorite go to meals when I’m feeling like pasta, instead of a rich creamy sauce it’s full of in season vegetables with a quick sauce of capers, herbs, sour cream and feta 💚 .nz

For those of you who don’t know, I have a serious sweet tooth… now this has gotten me into trouble in the past… This is my biggest tip for those of us who love sweet things…. Allow yourself a treat once in a while and enjoy every bite, don’t feel guilty about it, because it’s a treat and not something you do all the time. When I see something that looks so devine and out of this world, I treat myself, enjoying every bite. Then I have no guilt and I’m back to being good again.
Thank you Bert for recommending your Biscoff Chocolate Cheesecake, it was out of this world delicious, definitely the best cakes in Auckland without doubt ❤️

Super easy and nutritious lunch ideas! Spring is here! Fresh fruit and vegetables are more abundant and prices are dropping….. eat the rainbow 🌈 both these lunches came in just under $5 and took me a few minutes to prepare. I added cottage cheese and peanut butter for protein, add a boiled egg or a tin of tuna or salmon or even sardines. Buy whatever is in season, fuel your body, fuel your mind ❤️

For years there has been talk about finding a wonder drug, to help you live longer and look younger, well we have always had this within our reach… the single most important thing you can do to live a long healthy life… wait for it….. drum roll!!!…. EXERCISE, be active. Whether it be walking, running, dancing, going to a gym, doing classes, seeing a personal trainer like myself, the list is endless. Find something you enjoy, and just do it, consistency is key. The effects it will have on your physical health and your mental health is undeniable!
Earlier this year I decided to try something new, add something different into my training, woop woop just clocked up 100 classes at f45….. Going in to my 52nd year feeling strong and kickass!

Today was my active recovery day. Started the day with a yoga/meditation class then a treadmill walk. Had hoped to get outside but the weather wasn’t playing ball. Added more km’s to my fundraising.
I’m raising money to support this wonderful charity who are helping woman with incurable breast cancer and their families, I walk over 12,000 steps a day but am only counting my deliberate walks.
